Smith would only be grabbed to replace DJ. MCW spends plenty of time at wing so he's still got a spot. I would NEVER give up the 15 for Smith. I wouldn't give up AG to move from 15 to 8...I want both picks. AG and nothing else for DSJ and #8.

Regarding NY's glut of PF's...aren't they all one year deals? I thought they struck out in FA, so they just signed a bunch of third tier guys to one year deals to try again this offseason.

What about Bamba for DSJ + #8? I would accept this deal.

As for Monta, it would be nice to pick him and MPJr for AG + something, pipe dream ;)

I saw this earlier. I dont get why Okeke cant be a 3 or 4. In todays NBA its pretty interchangable. Until Bamba looks like an NBA basketball player I cant see trading Vuc unless its a damn good offer.

Good video. He echos a lot of what has been said here:

This is a developmental year with Isaac completely out. We should take advantage of what’s to be considered a good draft next season.

It’s time to make decisions with guys that still have value riding off the success of the previous two playoff years.
Fournier, AG, and Vuc are prime targets to be moved with this in mind.

Mo Bamba struggled in the second unit, but is still the future Center of this organization.

They don’t need to draft another front court big this year (obviously).

Yep... that sums it up.

Tank hard for Cade Cunningham while Isaac is out.

That is our best way to get a star.

Trade AG and Evan for young assets who need to develop but are not ready to contribute to winning games next year.

Thank you. Pretty much everything a Magic fan would think.

I like the words that Fournier does more bad to Fultz than he benefits him. Everyone knows Fultz is our future.

And I like a Shooting Guard who can shoot in this year's draft

reading comments on youtube video is epic. "trade for Dorozen, Fultz is great defender, Bamba gained 40 pounds of muscles".. Casuals.

So you would roll with three rookies; that I will call Devin Vassell-8 and RJ Hampton-15 (alongside Okeke).

So let's assume that Fournier and Ennis reap and that the Magic resign Carter-Williams and Clark, this is our 2020/21 Magic:

Fultz/Carter-Williams/Hampton
Ross/Vassell
Fournier/Ennis
Aminu/Okeke/Clark
Vučević/Bamba/Birch

The Magic would need to add a vet-LLE combo-wing (such as Justin Anderson or JaKarr Sampson). And that would be the roster you invented. I do not see 35 wins in that team.

If Onyeka Okongwu slides to 8, this is not a horrible trade. But then the Magic needs to deal #15. (Orlando will not ride three rookies).

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2912781-5-nba-trades-that-would-change-everything-next-season

Golden State receives: Nikola Vucevic, Terrence Ross, Orlando 2020 first-round pick (No. 15)

Orlando receives: Andrew Wiggins, Kevon Looney, Jordan Poole, Golden State's 2020 first-round pick (No. 2), Minnesota's 2021 first-round pick

I d do that trade

I can’t imagine GSW giving up both picks but hey, never say never!! If Minny trades #1 for a win-now player and that pick looks less attractive as trade bait for someone like Giannis, this could work.

I would absolutely do that deal and stockpile 2021 picks.

Isn't 2021 draft supposed to be one of the best drafts because it will have HS kids back?

I thought they pushed HS kids back a year to 2022 because of COVID. I may have misread that.

Not sure about HS kids, but yes I have heard very good things about the 2021 class.

Cade Cunningham, PG, 6’7
and
Jalen Green, SG, 6’5

are the big names people seem to be most excited about with Cade earning Luka comps and Jalen getting “Kobe-lite” comps.

I made a similar trade idea, but instead of Ross i had Gordon. GSW fans were not thrilled, but at the same time they think Wiggins is a positive value so....

I know Wiggins is a mess, but I'm fascinated with the idea of giving him a green light to create on offense on an offense-less team like ours...I could see him scoring 25 on this team, in an inefficient Zach Lavine-ish way...but our supporting cast might just fit better by providing team defense and inside out supplemental scoring. His contract is atrocious, but if we unload Evan, AG, and/or Vuc's deals this offseason while developing our younger guys during Wiggins contract...we're not the FA destination anyway, I don't expect ORL to go over the cap like Ballmer or Cuban would but we have too many 12-18m guys...reality is a couple of big deals and a bunch of low priced guys. Wiggins might not be THE star we crave, but he may be gettable and, at some point (if he's awful) he'll at least be a huge expiring...The pick is the thing, but Wiggins is not completely unplayable by any means. GSW is a perfect trade partner in that our timelines are so opposite, they have two valuable picks to move for win-now role players (which our team is composed of) and they also have the TPE to take on more salary (if the players warrant it, of course)...any of our top 4 or so guys would be great as the 3rd or 4th best guys on a contending GSW team.

I’m a fan of what Fultz COULD become for us.

But ... by all accounts Cade Cunningham is something else entirely.

1) Why couldn’t they play together?

2) Orlando is not in a position to pass on super star talent because of anyone currently on this roster

That’s similar to asking “we have Fultz do we need Luka Doncic?”

We need talent in all forms.
