Trae saw every type of coverage in College and the way he masterfully was able to figure out and beat the different defensive schemes thrown at him, you just knew he was a special player. Terry might never get to Trae's level but that's a high bar to reach and he doesn't have to reach it to become a really good NBA player and one of the best in his class.

So true.

IMO, Trae Young willl lead the league in scoring and assist one year, ala Nate "Tiny" Archibald. He's got that game.

Tyrell Terry may not be THAT dude, but he'll be a winner.

Aran Smith - NBADraft.net on Tyrell Terry

Strengths: Sharp shooting point guard with a slight frame but a ton of upside if his body develops … Very cerebral and focused player with great maturity from a mental standpoint“Slick”. Advanced offensive skill set … One of the purest shooters in this year’s draft … His release is clean, and concise … “Makes it look easy” … When he has time to get set and release the ball, he rarely misses … Quick and consistent shooting motion … Rarely forces up bad shots, and shows an excellent feel for the game … His passing ability is also very impressive as he shows innate vision and creativity … Makes his teammates better … Shows an excellent understanding of playing the pick and roll and can facilitate for teammates as well as come off screen for pull ups … Has the ability to make plays for his teammates as his passing ability sets up opportunities …He can spot teammates and drop the ball on a dime in the full court … Anticipates the game extremely well, on both ends of the floor … Sees plays before they happen, leading to breakaway steals, as well as passing teammates open for easy baskets … Pushes the ball up the floor well and sees the entire floor making excellent decisions … Solid ability to utilize runners in the lane, over the trees, to avert blocked shots … His 89% FT shooting confirms his elite level shooting stroke … Solid foot speed and quickness allows him to get by defenders and creates separation for scoring opportunities … Excellent ball handler, who is solid at getting by defenders off the bounce and can split double teams and handle full court pressure with ease … Also shows a solid ability to stop on a dime and pull up for shots … Despite lack of strength, plays with toughness and seems to fight through contact well … Finishes with either hand around the basket … Has sneaky athleticism, with the ability to get up and dunk when he gets the right momentum and is able to gather his feet … Has toughness, as shown by his surprising 4.5 rebounds per game … Has a fearless demeanor … Competitive player who plays with fire and passion … Never shies away from big moments, and seems to perform well at the end of games, when the pressure intensifies … One of the high risk/reward picks for this year’s draft who may have jumped the gun on a NBA career, but if his body comes around, watch out!

Stephon Curry ... Never forget!

Okoro isn't Jimmy Butler, offensively, tho. We have Mitch, RJ, and Frank as defenders. We need some offensive talent. We can get that and more from Haliburton imo.

this. why the hell should we draft another non-shooter. I don't get it.

I would pick Okoro if we get a good deal trading Frank. Something like #15 + Aminu for #27 + Frank.

According to CBS mock, we will pick Kira and Ramsay. Okoro only #14 and Tyrrel out of the first round.

According to NBC mock, we would pick Hayes at #8 and Woodard at #27. Kira would be picked at #28 and I would cry about it.

This is why you keep Mitch until such time and why you're very careful about negotiating with draft picks.

Anyone heard of 16yr old VICTOR WEMBANYAMA.7'3", 8ft wingspan :o

Kid looks better than Wiseman already

“There's a kid named Victor Wembanyama, who's maybe the best prospect in the world. He's 7'3 with almost an 8 FT wingspan. He blocks shots like Gobert and he shoots like Porzingis. He can handle & pass. I've never seen anything like him.”

Hayes can also play the 2 with the more traditionally PG sized guy can play the 1 then the Knicks have play making ability at the 1, 2 and 3.

I doubt Kira lasts to 27 but if the Knicks were to pick Hayes and Tre Jones I'd be ok with that. If Terry dropped that far even better. Or if the Knicks go with another way with the late 1st take Riller in the 2nd round.

Either way if the Knicks get Hayes or Hali they have a 6-5 guy who can play PG but also has the size to facilitate an offense from the 2 spot as well so the flexibility in a positiionless league is real good.

It's funny how all these different guys have the twitter workout vids coming out and the pundits all saying that this one, that one and another one are all moving up the draft boards but what I don't hear is that means there are plenty of guys who will drop if those others rise.

Hayes could play as SG. I would not miss an opportunity to draft Kira at 27.

I could see that if we thought he was the BPA

my bigger concern would be stunting the growth of Hayes by playing him out of position, something this organization loves to do. If we're drafting a PG play them at PG. Enough of this

We could use Kira as a reserve with only a few minutes of 2 PG line.

We dont have a good young PG for more than 20 years. We have to compensate for the time wasted!!! Lets draft 3 PG or 4 PGs!!!
