Wow a rookie lost to 2nd seed in conferance. He made the playoffs. 28ppg 7rpg 6apg. Thats better then lbj rookie season by 8ppg. He had woolridge with him.
Lebron 20ppg 6rpg 6apg, misses playoffs. Boozer ilgauskas as team mates.

Next season plays 18 games plays celtics again with woolridge, corzine and rookie oakley vs bird, parish, mchale dennis johnson. Puts up 43ppg 6rpg 6apg on 51%fg against the team who won the title.
Lebron again misses the playoffs.

Next year goes against the same celtics.
Puts up 36ppg 7rpg 6apg.

Next year the saviour pippen arives and caries that bum ass puting up 8ppg 4rpg 2apg somehow gets the bulls to a 50-32 and wills the bulls to the 2nd round to lose against the team who won the title.
That bum somehow steals mvp, dpoy from him by only avg 36ppg 6rpg 6apg 3spg 2bpg.
Next 2 year ecf vs the pistons. 1 year the only team that won not 1 but 2 games of the champs.

But the thing is nobody denies this never have been denied. But jordan never gave up. He failed but once he got there he stayed there.
It is you lbj fans who just cant accept that jordan did not fail once he got to the finals.
He did not give up because someone made mistakes and brook his hand.
He never scored under 20 pts in a finals game.
He also did not trade half his team.

Edit: those ss you can find worse by lebron in the finals. 8 points in a finals game, avg 18ppg getting man handled by jason terry and jj barea. Shooting under 40% x2 for a final serie.

Harden does not play a winning brand of basketball( winning titles), and he doesn't play any defense. Barring a miracle, I don't see Harden winning a title or reaching the Finals. Westbrook has won 1 playoff series since KD left. He's lost 2 in which his team was favored. He's had multiple playoff games with 30+ shots and shooting <.400 from the field. His b-ball IQ is really, really low.

Stockton never played winning basketball, hence the zero titles.

It was only in response of the post 549 in this thread by Drygon!

But remember,in the 1980s,the bulls make the playoffs at 30-52 in 1986,so it was not hard to make the playoffs at the time. The cavs missed the playoffs in 2005 at 42-40.

I know it was harder to miss the playoffs then make them.
I dont like propaganda post to prop either jordan or lebron over the other one.

Kareem definitely has a case being top 2 player next to Jordan. Never understood why he's always ignored.

Le Bron was mediocre vs Dallas in 2011 and formed super teams with Bosh, Wade, Kyrie, Love, and Davis. The Bulls traded for Pippen on draft night and drafted Grant. Rodman was an elite rebounder but Davis, Love, and Bosh all provided more. Jordan never stacked the deck like le bron

Le Bron was the third best player in the 2011 nba finals. Dirk Diggler and Wade both outplayed le bum. Name a time Jordan was outplayed in a finals series. Also, once jordan had a decent supporting cast around him, he never missed the finals. Im sure you dont remember but pippen sucked his first few years in the league

Also, LeBron was dropping 20 PPG on disastrous 40% TS in NBA Finals 2007. Which is awful for a top 3 player at the time.

If LeBron was just decent, the Cavs could've won at least once in that series. It was close despite LeBron's horror show...

- Game 1: Cavs 76 - 85 Spurs
- Game 2: Cavs 92 - 103 Spurs
- Game 3: Cavs 72 - 75 Spurs
- Game 4: Cavs 82 - 83 Spurs

At least he didnt go form a super team with future HOF and finals mvp D Wade and superstar Chris Bosh who averaged 19pts and 9 boards a game his last year in Toronto. Jordan actually stayed with Chicago and won the old fashion way. He didnt leave his team when the going gets tough like le bum has multiple times

He does it...oh if he wins another title or two THEN he’s the GOAT.

There’s nothing he hasn’t done and nothing more he has to prove. He’s the GOAT.

Lol ok kid thanks for telling us that. He cant go back in time and not get outplayed by dirk in the 2011 finals, hell jason terry outplayed i think. How many times has his teams been swept in the finals? Also, easy to do when you join up with Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Love, and Davis. Jordan would have just stayed in Cleveland and won

I love Larry Legend and you can make an argument that peak Bird between 1983-1987 was as good or better than Lebron. However, I give Lebron the upper hand because he's sustained an MVP level of play for 14 years straight now. Can't deny the longevity argument here. Bird had 5-6 true MVP level years and he was the clear best from 1984-1987, but Lebron played at an MVP level from 2006-2020.

Jordan I still give the upper hand because he had essentially 11 years of MVP caliber play and 6 championships in the process. Jordan's peak between 1988-1998 was the best player in NBA history. Lebron is close to Jordan but his longevity doesn't outweigh Jordan's peak level play and championships.

One thing that people don't mention about Jordan is that he might wins another championship if he doesn't retire in 1993. He could have also easily jumped to a contender after 1998 and won a couple more championships. Imagine if Jordan decided to join the Spurs and team up with Duncan in 1998? He probably could have won 2-3 more championships.
