IMO Vince had more talent but half the work ethic of Kobe.
Vince played on very good teams in Toronto and New Jersey. He had an excellent career but could have been better if he had that mamba mentality.

Kobe was ridiculously talented himself, more so than Vince. He was lucky having great management and elite mens like Shaq/Gasol, which was a requirement for any franchise with aspriations becoming a contender in 2000s. Kobe never got out of the 1st round without a star player next to him.
Neither Raptors or Nets were very good during Vince's years there, that's just reisionist history as its finest.

Prime Jason Kidd is every bit as good as Pau Gasol

Post micro-fracture Jason Kidd was already declining when Vince got traded there.
There's no doubt Pau Gasol was by far the superior player in comparison.

Lowry for PG. Who says no?
The Raptors. Easily.
Yes, PG is a better player, but unless it's winning the Raptors a championship (it won't) or setting us up for the future (it doesn't) moving Lowry isn't going to happen just to make a player on another team happy.
Now, if you can find a third team that is willing to trade picks/prospects for PG, then the Raptors are interested.
