Debating on using this cap space in free agency or maybe taking on additional salary in return for a nice young piece. Hit me up with trade offers if interested.

So I'm basically only zoned in on like 2-3 players at 27. If all of them get picked I'm going to be looking to move the pick. Hit me up if interested and we can go over potential deals

To elaborate, he's very skilled and worthy of a high pick because of that BUT he needs a ton of work on his body. Like beyond KP level. It's gonna be a few years before he can play in the nba and factor in the SIM lag not worthy of that slot IMO. I had him going late first early 2nd.

Yes and no. There is a method behind the madness. Also most mocks have him in the 14-20 range.

Phish mentioned he had at least some interst in Poku at 15. And I wanted Patrick Williams and Okoro both at a cheaper extension rate. So I could have risked poku getting to 16 or 19...or just gobble him up now. If he doesn't pan out in the first few years I don't have to extend him and just let him go off the books.

Okoro is a most likely extension for me so I wanted to make sure it was the cheapest extension possible. So don't look too much into where the guys were picked. It was more for extension purposes.

Hmm I've seen quite a few that have him much lower than 14-20 range.

*big boards have him as a late lottery a lot. Most mocks have him lower which I can understand if you only have 1 pick, its tough to take a long shot but I have 9 draft picks. I can take the risk that other teams might take more of a safe player which there are a few on the board. But the safe players aren't going to get that great value because as you see around the league you can find role players for the most part on the cheap via FA or as an rookie FA contact.

Nice pick mph. RJ is getting some love out there and could end up being a major steal. If Kira hadn’t been available for the pick I probably would have sat back and taken RJ.

Yeah I see him as potentially one of the better value picks in the real life draft. He might rise up late though, seems to be the feeling I'm getting of late...

thanks guys. Some have moved him up to the mid to late lottery. Do I buy him being a really good shooter? I don't know. But he seems to have taken really well to Mike Miller and the coaching about shaping his shot and I watched a videa from NBA draft junkies (rafeal) who lives in dallas and he went to one of his workouts and says the shot mechanics have siginficantly improved. If he becomes a halfway decent shooter he has next level shiftiness and explosion so another high reward pick for me.

If some don't pane out they don't, but wasn't going to go the safe route with all my picks.

If I only had 1 or 2 picks my thought process would have been different I would have picked probably guarunteed contributors...but this draft allowed me to take so shots at high risk guys. And I can always shift gears later.
