Michael Jordan is still the GOAT. Lebron has solidified the #2 spot though.

How is jordan not on his level? Please explain to me? Other than passing ability, le bron has nothing on jordan. Jordan was a better offensive and defensive player. Le bron has been inconsistent defensively his entire career. Good this year, horrible last year. Le bron makes the entire offense revolve around him. The Bulls used the triangle offense to have a free flowing offense. Get everybody involved. Le bron cant handle not having everything go through him. Pretty sure you never watched jordan play either. Other than you tube videos

You are biased against LeBron.

However, you do you.

Atleast he's backing his opinion up with an argument. What have you added to the conversation other then "it's my opinion" and unneeded insults?

Tell us how MJ isn't on Lebrons level.

Ok cool. I think your biased against jordan. You will never let anybody tell you that someone is better than le bron. Dirk is my guy anyway. That dude stayed with the Mavs for two decades. The dfw area loves the guy. He is amazing and a great guy. My favorite player of all time. Im just giving you my opinion and yea i dont like le bron. I dont know anybody personally who does. I think he is a narcissist brat

I don't need to put out arguments. I am simply expressing my opinion, and I am not looking to change anyone's mind.

With that being said, King James is my GOAT.

And that actually is exactly why Jordan is still the GOAT in my eyes. Cause LeBron isn't completely natural.

IMO MJ is a narcissistic douche.

Dirk was a great player, but I would never rank him in my personal top 30 NBA players of all time list. He also doesn't captivate me like other players do.

LeBron is in a class of his own. I personally respect/admire the hell out of him.

If you are gonna bring up PEDs, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Jordan took them.

Why not? He certainly deserves to be in the top 30 based on his career. Probably top 20.

He is just outside of my top 30. Top 20 is too generous IMO.

I'd encourage you to go through your list again. How many guys have an MVP and also ripped through the postseason beating a bunch of other top 20 all time guys to win a title as the best player? That list is really short.

Edit: IMO Dirk has a lot in common with Lebron in that people tend to remember his playoff failures more so than all the incredible playoff performances he had. His playoff resume is underrated.

Nope. Just outside of the top 30 is perfect for him IMO.

1996 finals vs sonics
27ppg 5rpg 4 apg 1.7stl .2 blk 42% fg 32% 3pt
1997 finals vs jazz
32 - 7 - 6 - 1.2 -.8 - 46 - 32
1998 finals vs jazz
34 - 4 - 2 - 1.8 - .7 - 43 - 31

Bulls win those 3

Lebrons losses in finals 2011 on
2011 vs mavs
18 - 7 - 7 - 1.7 - .8 - 48 - 32
2014 vs Spurs
28 - 8 - 4 - 2 -.4 - 57 - 52
2015 vs warriors
36 - 13 - 9 - 1.3 - .5 - 40 -31
2017 vs warriors
34 - 12 -10 - 1.4 - 1 - 56 -39
2018 vs warriors
34 - 9 - 10 - 1.3 - 1 - 53 - 33

How many of those head to head is Jordan outperforming lebron. How many of those are the bulls being better as a whole than their competition. While lebron played against amazing teams that his performances despite being pretty amazing are not enough.

In my honest opinion there are 3 players on the goat level with arguments to be made for two others but I think they are slightly below.

I’m so sick on the Jordan stans that think his reputation is untouchable and his history infallible

It hits me now that Lebron has hit 2nd most 3pointers this Finals. On 41.7 3ptfg%. GOAT ****.

MJ's life and career is imperfect just like all people. But he won the most other than Russell and he did it the same way Russell did (basically every year he played for better part of a decade), and he did it in the modern era (at the time) while scoring the most the way that Wilt tried (and failed) to do.

Lebron can catch/pass MJ in the all time rankings. People who say he can't are haters. Lebron's career isn't done yet, and that's why all this discussion claiming victory or defeat isn't fair. But neither is comparing raw stats from the late 90s to the uber-efficient three ball era.

Wilt was the 76ers leading scorer and rebounder and playmaker (assists) and defender (Jordan was never all of that) and wilt lead them over a better team than what Jordan’s bulls ever beat.
