Re: RealGM consensus mock - Denver
I voted Bane (a potential Harris replacement?) And T.Bey a potential SF to play next to Grant when they go small.
I'd lean Bane over Bey. I think Bane can be a nice secondary playmaker setting up Jammal off Jokic passes.

Re: RealGM consensus mock - Denver
other since many of the options here will be gone and many taken will be available more likely Maxey Terry Hampton etc.
but my vote for Denver is stash or sell and if they keep it Maledon and if he is taken then maybe they go Stewart for somebody else but it seems a little rich for him this high.
I dont get the Bane love in the 20's at all...great shooter and pretty bad at everything else already 22 stats padded etc

Poku fits their draft history: grab the guy with the biggest upside regardless of the potential for injury, etc. and/or fit. So I'd expect them to do the same here.

Re: RealGM consensus mock - Denver
If I had three choices, Bane would have been the third among those listed. I'm not convinced he'll be a solid defender in the NBA, so ...
I selected Paul Reed. I'm not convinced he'll ever be an NBA starter but his game looks like he might make NBA starter status but if not, he'd be a nice bench player IMO.
I also selected Jaden McDaniels. He's similar to Porter in size and athletic ability but his game is a little different. I'd say he has better handles but his shot isn't quite as nice. He'll need to adjust his game to fit on a team where he isn't the #1 option, but I think he can do that. Assuming Denver re-signs Grant, McDaniels can develop in the Coach Malone approach of taking time to learn. I could see McDaniels-Porter as a future Denver starting forward combo. (Oh yeah, he needs to learn some more defense - but that's true of most college stars LOL.)

Re: RealGM consensus mock - Denver
Bey and Bolmaro would be good picks for Denver. Just because Jokic can run the offense doesn't mean they need to rely on him every possession. Another initiator on the perimeter like Bolmaro could open some things up for them. Bey would give them a versatile defender if Jerami Grant leaves. They could also try McDaniels, who is a hit-or-miss prospect that might fit their recent drafting style.
Poku is the wildcard, but his role as a versatile 4 is a bit redundant with MPJ, imo. Again, I see Poku becoming Keith Van Horn in a few years. I'm not sure he's ever really a 5.
Denver should think in terms of replacing Harris or Barton, while improving their bottom-tier defense. That's why I went with Bolmaro and Bey.
