Rozier options? Minny, ORL, PHI?
CHA has pick #3 and is treading water until Batum is gone.
Bridges and Washington are solid players on rookie deals. Looks like DGraham has really developed.
Rozier is 26 and $19 mil a year - which for a 40%= three point shooter with volume is great. And, he is extra.
Option 1: Rozier to Minny for JJo $16 and #1.
- Gives CHA #1 and #3 to add nice pieces. Problem is does Minny want another guard?
Option 2: Rozier and $27 TPE to ORL for Fultz 12.3, Aminu 9.7, AGordon 18.1, Bamba 6, #15
Gordon, Bamba, #15 to Minny for #1, JJo 16 (could be done by itself)
CHA gets #1, Fultz, JJo, Aminu
- CHA adds #1 and Fultz but gives up Rozier and cap space. Fair?
Option 3: complicated
Philly gets - Rozier 19, Fournier 17.1, #15 - Gives Simmons, (scrub salary as needed)
ORL gets - Simmons 29 -Gives AGordon, Okeke, Bamba, Fournier, #15
CHA gets - #1, JJo, - Gives Rozier
Minny gets - AGordon, Okeke, Bamba -Gives JJo, #1,
- - Idea here for CHA is the pick. PHI turns Simmons into a stud backcourt shooting over 40% on threes.

So you are looking at Rozier as a asset to get the #1 pick? Well...

What about the Clippers? Also these offers are obviously wild, but maybe the thread can transition to ones that are realistic.

Rozier as worth the #1 pick or Ben Simmons is so absolutely awfully atrocious on value, I cannot imagine how this is a serious thread. It feels like the most off thread I have seen all year.

Re: Rozier options? Minny, ORL, PHI?
Yeah. Rozier has late to MAAAAYBE mid first round pick value: think 20-40 range. Without taking back a truly horrendous contract/player, I don’t see a way he straight up gets a top 10 pick, let alone the 1st pick.
But, realistically, he can be easily moved for something that may be a better fit long term, but he’s also not a problem where he’s at.

I could clinch it and post a Rozier for Harden? Maybe have Houston throw in a 2nd rounder to push it over the top.

Assigning Rozier even neutral trade value is generous, so proposing a trade where he returns the #1 is truly impressive in it's ridiculousness.

Well, I do not get to watch Rozier, so I guess he is not as good as his numbers?
Number show an over 40% three point guy on volume. Fournier is another guy that fits that mold - right at 40% on volume. If I had strong inside pieces, I would love high % over high volume shooters.

Rozier barely has positive trade value
I'm sure there's one team out there willing to give up value for him, but for most other teams, he has negative trade value
Not good enough to be a starter (unless you're desperate), way too expensive to be a backup
Feels like the entire OP should have been typed in green font

Huge exaggeration, Rozier can start on a playoff team. Are you trying to say KCP is better than Rozier? Rozier offers elite catch and shoot 3 pt shooting and secondary playmaking. And when motivated high level of defense as well.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

Rozier is garbage at 19m he's a 7m guy at best so he's absolutely negative value, one good three point shooting season doesn't change anything, he's a career 37% three point shooter, extremely mediocre in every sense and there are comparable players available every summer for a third his price tag.

Bledsoe, Lou, and Rose are all far better players on better contracts who will be on the market this offseason. And there are numerous free agent vet guards that any team could sign who would be serviceable enough. There likely won't be any sort of a market for Rozier if Charlotte is interested in moving him.
