That's correct. NBA is also thinking about new conference, division system. Less travel, less risks, less injuries, higher basketball level.
Ya they could clearly cut down the travel ... I've always thought it would be fun to see a more divisional break out by geography
North: Wolves, Bucks, Bulls, Pistons, Pacers, Raptors
West: Blazers, Kings, Warriors, LAL, LAC, Jazz
South: Suns, Nuggets, Thunder, Mavs, Rockets, Spurs
Southeast: Pelicans, Grizzlies, Hawks, Magic, Heat, Bobcats
Northeast: 76'ers, Wizzards, Celtics, Nets, Knicks, Cavs
