Never will understand why people on this board value DDV so much. He's not good. Overvaluing guys like him and then sitting on your hands scared to trade him is what would ultimately force Giannis to leave.

I mostly agree with this. I don't think DDV is bad but he's not the kind of dude you worry about losing.

If you think you’ll be getting 2018 Oladipo then of course you trade DDV, but if you get the 2020 Oladipo you’ve lost the only young tradeable asset on the team.

2019 Oladipo wasn't that great either. Before the injury he was having a season with 52 TS%, hitting just 34% on 3s. He had an unreal season the year prior, but wasn't great at all before the injury.

It's very possible that Donte is better than Oladipo every year going forward.

So would Brooklyn, they're going to match offers.

I was just looking at Oladipo's 2018 season and man, what a good year for him. Steals leader, most improved, all nba 1st team defense, all nba 3rd team. He also got defensive accolades in college. If the Bucks think he can regain that form, they should easily include Dante in the deal if needed.

Bledsoe made first team all defense last year but his decision making & shooting in the playoffs hasn't been the best.

* The way Donte plays is impactful on defense already. He's specifically capable of leading the league in steals with his command over passing lanes.

I just don't see it going well if the main move this offseason is to bring in Oladipo, but it feels like they might do that over nothing if they are desperate to make a move.

I don't necessarily mean for Oladipo. DDV should be on the block if it means getting a more dynamic offensive guard/wing.

Giannis just seems like he has too much pride to go join Luka’s team in Dallas. I’m not seeing it. Would definitely watch 100% of Mavs games though.

Would be disappointed if we didn’t come out of this offseason with 4 legitimately good, high end starter level offensive weapons. Like regular season Bled/Brog/Khris/Giannis from 18-19 except unlike Bledsoe they would actually translate to the playoffs. We’re not gonna outgun Bron/AD as a duo but we can by committee.

Oladipo+Bogdan, CP3+Bogdan, Dinwiddie+Hield, something like that.

I'd be willing to take a flier on Oladipo for a season so long as he doesn't cost a king's ransom but I imagine we wouldn't be the only interested suitor. Would be nice if our gifting them Brogdon gave us an in with their FO but I don't see it going down that way. More upside with Oladipo than there is with Bogdonovic.

Still want CP3... *le sigh*

I really think Lopez should be the odd man out if we have any choice between him and Bledsoe; his production is the easiest to replace just a guy who boxes out, chucks 3s, and blocks shots in the drop zone plus Giannis should be getting more minutes at the 5 anyways. If we could get CP3/Oladipo then Bledsoe could play to his strengths off the bench will not feeling slighted. Get a guy like Cousins(BFF with Bledsoe) or a guy like Luke Kornet. MLE for Bogdon would be cool but probably unrealistic, I've seen a lot of people have Jabari as a guy to bring back to bring some scoring/finishing which would be good too. Dunno if any of it is realistic, I feel like this offseason is going to take forever.

If you're Oladipo and you see how much money playing with coach Bud and Giannis got Middleton and BRogdan, wouldn't you want to go there? If he (or any player in his situation, honestly) is willing to bet on himself, Milwaukee is as good as anywhere.

Oladipo would be a good get because I do think he’ll have a nice bounce back year. But thinking about it more I’m not giving up **** to get him given he’s gonna want max money, I’m definitely not including Donte. If they’ll take Bled + a couple 2nds or something, dope, otherwise look elsewhere.

Would be a serious bummer if he never regains form and that season gets completely forgotten 10-15 years from now. Hell, it’s already been forgotten by many fans. Dude was a legit top 12 guy.

I'm not too wild about Oladipo but if you are getting him you gotta hope he bounces back to 3 seasons ago.

https://stathead.com/basketball/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=1&player_id1_hint=Victor+Oladipo&player_id1_select=Victor+Oladipo&player_id1=oladivi01&idx=bbr__players&p1yrfrom=2019&p1yrto=2020&player_id2_hint=Donte+DiVincenzo&player_id2_select=Donte+DiVincenzo&player_id2=divindo01&idx=bbr__players&p2yrfrom=2020

I'd obviously part with the Pacers pick back to them, but beyond usage stats I don't see Oladipo as a much better player right now than Donte.

Hill+ Ersan+ DJ+ Pick is probably my top line offer. Though I don't see them doing that so, :dontknow:

Bledsoe is about the level of player I'd move for Oladipo. Anything else is honestly not worth it.
