Honestly he's on my full-mle list for Portland, but I think he'll get more than that from someone.
I was going into this thread thinking exactly what you put. I honestly am not sure how he is a thing in todays NBA. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense considering Faried is completely out of the league.

“kind of a little disappointed I wasn’t allowed to stay in Toronto, but things happen, you move forward.”
Just to speak candidly, it caught me by surprise that we didn’t get something done. I made it clear that I wanted to be there and I thought, with the type of year that I had, the feeling would be mutual. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. I think they wanted to go in a different direction and become more of a defensive-minded team

You put him at the five and he will be at a disadvantage against your goberts, jokics, ADs..you try him at PF, he hurts spacing and cannot hang with smallball PFs.
I think the clips could have made it work by playing him next to jamychal green more often, so that way his lack of spacing and size would be minimized and he can do what he does to help the team. I think playing next to a porzingas for example could achieve that same type of affect. Overall, good player but he needs to have a suitable frontcourt mate to play next to (versatile and can space the floor) in order to maximize his strengths, especially in the playoffs.
