Typically it is best to avoid fallers and flee the crash site.

No way Okongwu is falling to 9. I'd see him get picked top 3 before he falls out of top 5. Same with Avdija, he'll be gone by the time we get to #4.

Minnesota Timberwolves
Golden State Warriors
Charlotte Hornets
Chicago Bulls
Cleveland Cavaliers
Atlanta Hawks

Detroit Pistons
New York Knicks
Washington Wizards

Four of the five teams picking after Charlotte don't need centers and Okongwu might be the second center drafted. If neither Wiseman or Okongwu go top 3 one of them could be available at 9. If one of them goes top 3 then the other go as late as 7 and 9 isn't impossible if Detroit passes. I don't think its very likely both go top 3, but who knows.

Some people are saying Chicago likes Deni, so he probably won't make it past 4.

Minnesota Timberwolves
Golden State Warriors - likes Avdija. OO could be good fit.
Charlotte Hornets - probably like OO over Wiseman
Chicago Bulls - scouted Avdija heavily
Cleveland Cavaliers - scouted Avdija heavily, should consider OO
Atlanta Hawks - will consider OO
Detroit Pistons - likes Avdija, will consider OO
New York Knicks - loves Avdija
Washington Wizards - should consider OO

I have OO to Hawks and Avdija to GS btw.

6th is late enough for Charlotte to potentially get a little extra value in a trade back scenario if they like Okongwu. Id be fine taking him at 3 and there are a lot of top prospects in this class I don't like at all, so maybe trying something like that would be getting too cute and they should just take him if hes their guy. I really have no idea how this draft is going to play out tbh.

1. Edwards
2. Ball to Knicks
3. Avdija
4. Toppin
5. Wiseman
6. Haliburton
7. Hayes
8. Okongwu to Warriors

That's how I see it shaking out.

He remembers facing Bam Adebayo, then with High Point Christian Academy and now with the Miami Heat. "I'm a scrawny, little freshman," Okongwu says, "and this dude is a muscleman. Like Thanos." He was so nervous. Damn, I am really going against this dude. What am I going to do? I don't want to get embarrassed. Everyone is watching. He told his teammates: "Help me if you can. He's a big dude." He tried to calm himself down. But Adebayo dominated him.

The next time they matched up? "I wasn't going for any of that," says Okongwu, who remembers having 14 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks. He continued to rise in high-pressure situations, with sold-out venues, as people came to see the Balls play. "He's a great player to play with," says LaMelo Ball, also a projected lottery pick this year. "He blocks shots. He runs the lane. I loved playing with him."

I don't buy that. My guess is someone around 3-6 wants him to drop and leaked smokescreens.

Agreed he don't last past 6. Its not a stretch to take him at 3 imo.

Still a huge Okogwu fan.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I will continue to dream about trading down and still picking up both OO and Haliburton as my ultimate best case scenario in this draft.

How is this possible? Does any team have multiple lottery picks?

Never been a big fan of trading down. The May/Felton draft still haunts me.

No, it's pretty unrealistic. We'd essentially have to coordinate two separate moves. Trade down for one piece plus the pick, then trade that piece plus another asset from us to get the second pick from a different team.

Lol

I'm secretly hoping we take Tyrell Terry at 3 because let the world burn and whatnot.

Swishing one-legged fadeaways like Dirk. Range out to three now?

I'm high on OO, but he's really slow to load and release those 3s. Actually getting that shot off in the NBA is going to be tough for him unless he speeds it up.

I see what you're saying, but "really slow to load and release those 3s" as a 20-year-old (by December) rookie is a lot better than where we thought he was before this upload.
