SVG is a good coach. he wouldn't have been my choice as HC but he's a good coach nonetheless. he's more similar to Thibs than you think

has a regular season winning % of .577 and .527 in the postseason compared to Thibs' w/ .589 and .429

both have been HC for multiple teams. SVG: 4, Thibs: 3. both had basketball ops control at their last stop as HC...and both got fired in large part b/c of it

NBA basically begging for the Knicks to be good again.

I guess the league will be begging for a long time then.

tbh, I'm not sure agents are all that necessary for some players negotiating contracts w/ teams. If I were a MAX player, I definitely wouldn't hire an agent to negotiate my contract, only would for endorsements

Dinwiddie def aint a MAX guy, but players can typically gauge their worth based on what similar players have previously made/market value, so makes sense to not want to give up 3-5% of their salary

in football DHop negotiated his own contract and did damn well for himself

they NEED to give us a top 3 pick next year

viewers probably didn't really care about seeing Lebron win again since he's always in the finals and it was a pretty foregone conclusion that they would beat the Heat. personally, I was watching football on days when games overlapped

Looks like Kenny was overrated after all. Nobody wants him as a head coach.

Mike Miller is a better head coach that Kenny Atkinson.

I never saw anything special in Kenny Atkinson's coaching.

he should probably just go to the lakers but he'd probably feel funny doing it now

If the Lakers make moves which open up a spot for him and it's a natural fit (e.g. like trading Kuzma), then sure. But I agree that Portland is the right move. NY would be crazy and a distraction to a rebuilding team that, for the time being, looks like it'll be playing in another a tank/developmental season.
