Thybulle is a bit too much here. Korkmaz?

We take advantage (or gamble depending on how you look at it) of the long break John Wall had to recover from his injury.

John wall is way better of a scorer and shooter than Ben or even Jimmy. I think Wall and Biid would be a lethal pairing. While the Ben and Beal looks like a better pairing than Wall and Beal. After this, they’ll be one good draft away (or one tank away) from being a contender. ..maybe?

We also got Hield, who’s forcing his way into our team. Kings on the other hand got a fair compensation with Hachimura.

John Wall
Buddy Hield
Tobias Harris
Al Horford
Embiid

6th and 7th man: Thybulle and Josh Rich

Or

John Wall
Hield
Thybulle
Tobias
Biid

6th-7th man: Al and Josh Rich

I would at least consider this version of your trade, but even this isn’t very good:

PHI gets Wall, Beal, Bryant, and 12 (plus a 30.5M TPE)
SAC gets Horford, Zhaire, 9, and 21
WSH gets Simmons, Harris, and Hield

I'd do it ngl

Lowry is a baller

I know a lot of raptors fans on here are super against anything that adds salary next season just like every other fan of every other team on this forum but I try to be realistic and would love to have horford as our starting center. We paid gasol 50 mil over the last 2 years to provide next to nothing. The goal would be to flip Powell and some assets for oladipo and go into next year with van vleet/oladipo/ OG/siakam/horford + ibaka.

If Giannis wants to go to Toronto as bad as some raps fans think they can just flip assets to make space or sign and trade later.

Philly is the only place I would willingly trade Lowry to because I’d like to see him get a real run at it again next year before it’s too late. He will be too old for the raps next window.

We need a lead guard more than anything and Lowry is that to a tee. Hits big shots, takes charges, plays defense. He's a winner that will make the plays we need down the stretch. Could use pick 29 on Tyler Bey if you wanted a Thybulle replacement also. I think he's better than him.

DAL gets Richardson, Scott, Smith, and 34
PHI gets Zeller, Curry, and Wright

Put this on the trade board but I think it works for all 3 teams:

PHI get: PG13, CP3
PHI give: Simmons, Horford, Zhaire, Korkmaz

LAC get: Simmons, Horford
LAC give: PG13, Zubac, McGruder

OKC get: Zubac, Zhaire, Korkmaz, McGruder
OKC give: CP3

Philly new rotation would be CP3, Thybulle, PG13, harris, Embiid - Milton, Burks, J-Rich, Scott
That looks like an ideal team to build around Embiid. Thoughts?

I’d do the trade for Sixers. But I cant see why OKC would do the trade, specially the fact that it sounds like there’s gonna be a bid war for CP3 while Zubac isnt really valuable for them.

I feel we need to give up one of Jrich, Milton or Thybulle for cp3 to secure the bid war.

That is unless they’re really high on Korkmaz after watching him trying to develop his step back

It's interesting, and I like the end result, but ultimately I'd just look to acquire CP3 without Ben/PG13 portion, which I think is doable.

NYK 2nd in 2021 is extremely valuable considering that's 2 drafts in one. Wouldn't be using that as a throw in

Double draft (HS kids eligible again) scheduled for 2022 currently.

Oh right. I forgot Adam Silver pushed it back seconds after we acquired Mia '21

OKC save $24m this off-season by doing it. It enables them to open cap space to sign a player to max contract if they wanted. A player like Ingram, which is only possible due to the trade, making it an asset. Plus they get some young prospects.

You’re not kidding. It was either that night or the next day I believe. Good old Dave Silver.

I'm surprised Derrick Rose's name isn't mentioned more. Expiring vet on a tank team who shouldn't cost more than another expiring, a couple 2nds, and maybe a Zhaire level prospect.

DRose is probably a low-risk, medium-reward move? I wouldn't be opposed to it, but don't think he would make us contenders. Maybe something like Scott + Zhaire + #34 + 2021 NYK 2nd for him, followed by Horford + Korkmaz + #21 for Hield + Bjelica?

Rose would be useful. He seems to have figured out what he needs to do to be an effective offensive player with this limitations.

It would be tough giving up a lot for him, not knowing how healthy he'd be at any given point.

I second the Rose idea, but I wouldn't give up a lot to get him.

If DET would do Rose and Snell for Horford, 21, and 36; then that could be worthwhile.

Rose's skill set would help but I'll pass on all that baggage

I would much rather take a chance on a guy at 21. Even without Horford on the books, we'll need good players on cheap deals.

Wait...aside from what this deal gives Philly, which is not enough for Ben freaking Simmons, but in the same trade we are simply going to hand over Simmons and Horford to a team that already has Kawhi??

Why would we do that??

Simmons/Kawhi/Horford might be a better big 3 than any other in the league. They fit well together, they all defend...there's no way in Hell I'm letting that big 3 get formed out West especially not if the result is I get to watch Paul George play like hot garbage and fight with his teammates all year. Embiid would strangle PG before it is all said and done.

And CP3 ain't fixing those issues.

Not just no from me, but hell no.
