They called him the best big man finisher in the country. Also a versatile scoring big who can stretch the floor, midrange and in the paint.

Nice find ! The kid is legit, glad he is being slept on, the way he want to emulate Bam is a good sign, his dribling and shooting is underated, he might not be embiid but he is a triple threat, solid defender the can move his feet and block shots. If we had a guy like this to play along bam and spare bam, we prob beat the lakers...

I just think his skillset allow him to run the 2nd unit and explode scoring, but he does not have to, Dragic woud be fine coming off the bench

Oturu might be the more versatile and give the biggest inside presence and scoring ability. Sometime our offense get clogged, Oturu gives us another guy that can get a basket by himself. He was minesota state whole offense all year, he can score.

Only player in ncaa with 21 pts 11 rebounds and 2.5 blocks on 62% TS, 37% on 3s, we cannot disregard this, he is a very efficint player still improving with higher ceiling than most think

Jalen has the lead for me by the slimmest of margins over Oturu. I just love his potential complement to Bam.

Oturu is getting the shaft in mocks and may go a lot sooner.

Perry is very Bamish and would be a bit redundant, but not enough to worry about.

Oturu's playmaking ability wasn't good in college and it could take years for him to become a decent 3-point shooter. Why would we draft him at 20? He might not even be the best defensive center available by the time we draft. You guys are reaching with fit.

Very interesting prospect for us. I'm good with any of the Kentucky guys. Especially in a year that was cut short. Trust what you know and trust coach Cal. I'm not enamored by any of the bigs in this draft I like Jalen Smith and Oturu but I'm taking the best guard over those guys cause that's what's going to be BPA. We need a stout defender to compliment Herro in that backcourt and I believe Maxey or Quickley can provide that. I still like Quickley as a shooter a lot more.

NBA teams looking to cash in on the next Tyler Herro with a draft night steal may want to look once again at the University of Kentucky and to Herro's former teammate Immanuel Quickley.

The SEC Newcomer of the Year in 2018-19, Herro was projected as a first round pick but continued to rise up draft boards before being selected at No. 13 overall by the Miami Heat in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Herro was good during the regular season, where he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. He was even better in the playoffs, breaking a 44-year-old NBA playoff rookie scoring record by reaching double-figures in 20 straight games, including a career-high 37 vs. the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, in helping lead the Heat to its first finals appearance since 2014.

After averaging just 5.2 points per game as a freshman, Quickley led the Wildcats in scoring (16.1 ppg), made 3-pointers (62), 3-point percentage (.428), free throws made (144), attempted (156) and free three percentage (.923) on his way to becoming the fifth SEC Player of the Year under head coach John Calipari.

Quickley, who was one of five Wildcats to receive an invitation to the annual NBA Draft Scouting Combine, is projected anywhere from a late first to late second round pick by most mock drafts.

According to Forbes' Adam Zagoria, Quickley has met twice with the New York Knicks, who hold the Nos. 8, 27, and 38 picks in the 2020 NBA Draft, Detroit Pistons (No. 7), and Oklahoma City Thunder (Nos. 25 and 53). He's also met with the Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Atlanta Hawks, Utah Jazz, Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans.

hat changed Kentucky's season. After switching to a three-guard lineup in a win at Arkansas on Jan. 18, the Wildcats won 13 of its final 15 games.

But it was his 18-point performance in a 78-70 overtime win over archrival Louisville that changed Quickley's season. From that point forward, Quickley ended the year with 20 consecutive double-digit scoring games, the longest streak by a Wildcat since Malik Monk (30) in 2016-17, and hit at least one 3-pointer in his last 11 games, including a career-high eight en route to a 30-point performance in a win at Texas A&M.

Quickley helped lead Kentucky to a 25-6 record overall and a 15-3 mark in the SEC to bring home UK's sixth regular season conference title in the Calipari era. He declared for the 2020 NBA Draft on April 13 and announced he would forego his remaining two years of eligibility.

He signed with Roc Nation Sports in mid-May.

Under Calipari, no school has produced more No. 1 overall picks (3), top-10 picks (13), lottery picks (21), first round picks (29) and total NBA Draft picks (38) than the Wildcats since 2010.

UK has had at least one player selected in 12 straight NBA Drafts, the longest streak of any school in the country. During his tenure, Calipari has produced at least one lottery pick in the last 10 NBA Drafts and multiple lottery picks seven times including four of the last five years.

The 2020 NBA Draft will be held virtually on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Strengths: Nnaji is a wiry strong, mobile big man who is skilled enough to stretch the floor and threaten with perimeter shooting with a little development … Plays with great passion and intensity, bringing very solid consistency for a player his age (turned 19 in January) … Has great footwork in the post and in the pick and roll/pop game … Excellent rebounder due to his energy, positioning, and length … Averaged over 3 offensive rebounds per game … Solid 7’1 wingspan on a 6’10 frame … Mixes up his variety of post moves well and moves his feet well to pivot to an ideal spot for a hook shot … Smooth shooting stroke that will allow for quick development at the next level … Quick first step off the dribble allows him to drive by taller, less athletic big men … Efficient interior scorer at 58% on the season … Prevents foul trouble with great technique and footwork in the post … Plays under control with good hands and athleticism in the post … Very solid free throw percentage for a big man (76%) … Solid upside. Outlook: Proved to be one of the most prolific and productive freshmen in the nation after coming into Arizona as their third highest rated recruit (Mannion, Green) … Shows solid upside as a stretch four if he improves his perimeter shooting … Projected mid-late first round pick … NBA ready player who can become an instant starter in the right situation … Could thrive as a glass cleaner early on as he develops from a center into a stretch four … Did not have a good season shot blocking, (0.9 per game) but with his size, wingspan, and desire, he should be able to improve in this area at the next level …
