not an easy no, Porter was #1 on my Big Board for the 2018 draft. He's potentially KD lite except he's a elite rebounder. He has the potential to be a superstar and Tatum's equal or superior. So getting him gives us a Big Three for a long time. Which we could have had had Danny not traded the #8 pick for the Kyrie rental. Losing Smart would hurt but if Brad is incapable of having a tough conversation with his players, Smart will continue to jack up bad shots and hurt our offense. Still his salary and impact is outstanding. We're going to lose Hayward anyway and Langford isn't a loss. But is getting Porter Jr. worth two more years of Harris and Barton contracts? I think if there were no injury concerns I'd do it in a heartbeat. You don't often get the chance to acquire talents like this. But there is. If they could replace Barton with Bol I do it. But would Danny and his hubris make that trade? He did after all pass on Bol several times for much lesser prospects. I doubt he'd openly admit what a disastrous drafter he is by trading Langford for Bol even though that wouldn't be the crux of the deal.

Yep if only we had a guy like Bol Bol who appeared in a whopping 4 playoff games for the Nuggets, all of which were blowouts, Celtics would have been playing in the Finals. Also if Ainge picked Isiah Roby or Naz Reid they would have made the Finals as well.

Porter potential to be Tatum's superior? Lol.

In a different draft it would be a tougher decision. For me Smart's contract and impact on winning are too important.
He just needs to take less shots away from Jaylen and Tatum and remain a bench a player.

Question....assuming we can maneuver a 3 team trade leveraging another teams interest in dipo, Hayward to Indiana and a TPE tp Boston ;

Is there a way or is possible to trade for someone or do a S&t for a player with 1 year guaranteed in an effort to manufacture cap space for 2021 to have a shot at giannis? ( I mean so unlikely but still)

In other words do a s&t maybe a 3 year deal on'y 1st year guaranteed and over pay a player a bit so he’s enticed and then if we can be players in FA not pick up his option? Or does Tatums extension kicking in still kill any real space for us

djFan or Constable will come in and drop knowledge, but I believe that the Tatum extension destroys any shot at cap space in 2021.

Having a medical card is sweet. Harold and Kumar is probably my favorite, the Christmas one is really good as well. It’s not a very good movie, but Grandmas Boy always kill me.

I do love the idea of flipping Oladipo to a third team for a TPE though.
