If new season starts on Christmas, 60 days from today, I wonder how this rushed draft, off-season will affect rookies. They will have no SL league, nor full preseason. It also might increase potential impact from young players who are already NBA players, within strong development program. Okogie, Culver, Nowell, Reid, JMac, Vanderbilt, Martin they all can improve significantly and impact the game from very beginning of new season.

i think this guy stole my idea...#1 to Hornets for #3, Miles Bridges...Bridges is good all around player, i'd use the #3 to draft Toppin. Sign some good defensive players off the bench.

conflicting reports outta the warriors camp..they're impressed with everyone..probly trying to play mind games with other teams.

We need to schedule workouts with edwards, ball, wiseman, toppin, and Deni Addija. Maybe test Toppin's defensive skills in those workouts..if he impresses, then we consider drafting him.

Since Nets just hire Amare Stoudamire..Would you guys trade #1 for Levert, Allen and Joe Harris(Sign and Trade). Maybe they could draft Toppin. Who better to mentor Toppin than the player he's compared to lol.

Dlo
Levert
Harris
Towns
Allen

We become West version of Nets..all we gotta do is hire Kenny Atkinson lol.

Uh... why would the Wolves want to be the Nets? A fringe playoff team in the East doesn't make the playoffs in a much tougher West.

Wells Nets never had a guy like Towns..a healthy Towns with these players is a playoff team. Esp if Dlo and Levert play at their best. Allen and Harris play good roles.

Would anyone take Drummond on a sign and trade+Nance Jr+#5? Most i would pay Drummond is 20-23mil/yr...he's only 27 and is a paint patroller. Nance is a solid back up pf.

idk about Allen. But that would be a lot of 3s raining down and Levert running the court wild.

December 22 seems like a really fast turn around, that's less than two months from now. No training camps yet or any of that. The draft isn't until the 18th on next month and then we will have a free agency+rookie orientation. I don't know, seems like a big rush job.

That’d be pretty tough considering teams are just now being able to visit prospects and have to pass 3 COVID tests and go to them. By the time they’re done visiting they’d have a very small amount of time to go over their options. Like a day.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

IMO CHA should consider trading their pick. They are horrible at drafting.

1, Evans, Spellman for 3 and Bridges.
Wolves get whoever is left of Ball/Edwards and add a rotation forward, Lets get it done.

No interest in adding Bridges.

Nance would be a very good starting PF for us. I would make that deal without Drummond in it.

If moving down two spots is all it takes, I’d happily do it. There’s a good chance that Minnesota’s guy could still be on the board. One of Charlotte/Golden State likely grab Wiseman and the other one of Ball/Ant.

He doesn't suck, but he also doesn't bring anything out of the ordinary. Not worth trading down two spots and a good chance of losing your guy. I'm a bigger advocate of trading down to 5 if we can get Nance out of the deal. He's a do it all PF that is just about exactly what Rosas is looking for.

I heard on radio someone talking about how the league has a typical 500 million in tv related revenues at risk over the December holiday run if they don't get the season going in December and instead wait until into January. There is the gravity for rushing it. So it sounds like new FAs will barely know their new teams, new draft picks will barely have any onboarding or system learning time to fit in, probably will be some living out of other players homes/apartments until they get settled in. No skin off my back either way. Go ahead and start December 1 for all I care. But yes for the teams/players sakes it should wait well into the new year with a few months of offseason at least. It's just gonig to be ugly basketball at start from some of the teams. I wonder how much resting some of the playoff teams will be doing for their stars that just got done balling out the playoffs.

Wha Wha ... call the whambulance!! Oh my the 3rd world country problems we have ... prolly gonna have to start a "GoFund The NBA" for these poor souls.

Seriously, not to be cynical to anyone, but I have ZERO concern for any of them as they struggle through their "hardships"

Thanks for the word. With trying to get this earlier than expected start the league should consider moving the draft and FA up a couple weeks.

Yeah, rough life right? They can handle missing a full offseason for once. But that doesn't mean it won't impact their typical preparations and the actual time it does take for new rooks or even vets to gel with a new team. Especially those teams changing coaches or entire front offices. Get ready for a little more loose street ball look to some of it. Hey it might be a little more exciting.
