I was only 4 years old so I don’t remember this but I think it subconsciously helped make me a sports fanatic. Vince Carter was the tipping point

I had just moved to Canada that fall, and when we visited downtown then I remember getting those newspaper inserts "back 2back" didn't know what it meant at that moment.

With next season looking like it will start on December 22nd, I wonder how long Pascal has been training already since the bubble exit. Jimmy Butler was reportedly back in the gym 2 days after the Heat got eliminated, and for all the talk of Pascal being hungry to prove haters wrong, I wonder if he's been training his a** off soon after we lost that game 7. I guess there's no way to really know, but I'm kinda curious considering how he got a lot of smoke for not training/improving during the hiatus.

So many of our players need Rico Hynes right now but the Pandemic is so Ontario-Quebec-Alberta bad that a whole country gets banned from Europe joining the leader lahoosers from stateside blowing the health crisis. That is where we are in so-not-normal virusville restricting player movement. Maybe we need a two year break from pro team sports so reliant on fat foods advertising. Eat this unhealthy crap and enjoy watching these finely tuned physical specimens who could never perform like this or compete if the ate the dumpster trash they help promote.

I noticed that too. He brings the ball down as part of the gather. That is fine for the G League, or even a bench role player, but if he is going to make the rotation he needs to address this and speed up his release.

The Raptors should hire Rico. It hurt me every time they showed Phil Handy on the Lakers' bench this year. We need a skill development coach like that, with that credibility.

Believe Rico is being wasted away with the Sacramento Kings.

So the draft is on the November 18 and free agency days later. Then the season may open mere weeks later on Dec. 22. That is not a lot of time to deal with the closed border implications and/or training camp. The players association should mandate Feb 1 as start date which means end of August finish to 2021. The following season could start late November. This timetable is crazy. Raps are in a heap of trouble complying with Dec 22. Again I think they should insist on a "safe corridor" into Fort Erie for their own Canadian bubble with 2,000 isolated fans per contest. There should be a tournament structure of best of three contests. Raps should have few "away" games except for entering another teams expanded tournament bubble like the NHL did. Above all else no player should be any less safe than what the bubble provided but they cannot revisit Orlando. Would be better to delay the season indefinitely until things are worked out. The league is acting penny smart pound foolish.

He can also hit 20 in a row after he finds the range, but really,, it's only the first shot that matters.

I actually don't think his release speed is that bad. I think it could be quicker but is probably average for a 2/3 in the NBA.
