The wiretap: Durant says Caris Levert can be the 3rd star. Where does this leave Spencer Dinwiddie on? Kyrie and Joe Harris starting, Levert back-up 6th man. No feed to Dinwiddie appears from this point.
Trading Lou and Shamet for Dinwiddie maybe? Loved his playmaking and shooting abilites.

Phil Jackson? Many think Doc is way overrated. He’s won 1 on a loaded team and it took a few breaks to do that he’s lost so many times with stacked rosters with big leads. 3-1 etc. It’s his job to get them on the same page. I’m not buying that anyway though. Up 3-1 and huge leads in the 3rd and 4 th In back to back games. That’s coaching. Rotations. Timeouts.

Any chance of trading PG13 to Indy? They got some players worth picking up.

PG13 trade value is going to be difficult since he can opt out after next season.
So teams are not going to give up a lot for him unless he agrees to sign a long term deal with the new team.
He left Indy so he can't be traded to them.
Also, Lakers have cap space when he can opt out so Clippers just have to try to make it work with PG13.

I don't think the PG-Indy break up is amendable

I have a love/hate relationship with the rumor mill. This one sounds better than that dreadful Westbrook one.

Yeah the Clippers have to maximize the rest of PG13 and Kawhi's prime.
Then maybe hit the jackpot with one or two of those second round picks.

Based on this, I'd say Kawhi is leaning toward re-signing. But if he doesn't, the Clippers org is screwed.
https://theathletic.com/2253840/2020/12/10/paul-george-max-contract-extension/
- George wouldn’t speak for Leonard and his future, but he said that he consulted with Leonard before agreeing to his extension and is hopeful that his co-star will remain with the team for the foreseeable future.
“It’s not putting a gun to Kawhi and telling him, ‘He’s gotta do this or do that,'” George said. “Hopefully, it’s a mutual bond and we both enjoy playing with one another. Everybody has got their own decisions to make and hopefully, me showing my commitment, being here and wanting to play with him long term, sticks out.”
When asked if he feels burdened to live up to his prior production in Indiana and Oklahoma City and billing as Leonard’s co-star, George said he is focused on getting Leonard to view the situation similarly by next offseason. Ideally, according to George, the two will play together through the rest of his deal.
“The responsibility is to make him feel like the way I felt when I came into my extension,” George said. “I knew where I wanted to be. I knew who I wanted to play with. That’s my responsibility to go into the season. … What I would love is to play with him for the rest of my contract — or the rest of his contract.”

Where else would Kawhi go?
Lakers no longer have cap space next summer. And being in LA was suppose to be his big thing.
I can't imagine him going back to Toronto or all the way to Miami or Dallas.
Being in SoCal was suppose to be his thing right?

From San Diego by air/car, PHX is just as close as Staples. Not saying he's not staying but it's not in the bag either.

So he commutes from SD for every home game, practice, team events, etc?

I've been trying hard not to even MENTION a certain Clippers ex-coach for weeks now but make of this what you will.
Yes, Kawhi is more a San Diego guy now, not LA. Dunno how well you know LA but he's from Riverside not Malibu. Went to SD State and lives there now.
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2913742-report-some-clippers-bristled-at-kawhi-missing-games-being-late-for-flights
- But some players may feel as though Leonard took advantage of his clout, with Jovan Buha and Joe Vardon of The Athletic reporting it "ruffled the feathers of some teammates because of the preferential treatment showed to him from top to bottom."
Per that report:
"Players like Patrick Beverley, Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams—Clippers bedrocks before the arrival of Leonard and George—bristled when Leonard was permitted to take games off to manage his body and to live in San Diego, which often led to him being late for team flights, league sources said. The team also allowed Leonard to dictate to Doc Rivers when he could be pulled from games, among other things. Tyronn Lue was on Rivers' bench for all of this, but the Clippers were Rivers' show."
Leonard wasn't alone in reportedly earning the ire of his teammates. Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium also reported in September that a number of Clippers "had verbal spats with George throughout the postseason, citing in their exchanges a lack of accountability from him."
Charania added:
"In the postgame locker room Tuesday night, George was preaching to teammates to remain committed, for all the players to return to the team this offseason and stay ready to make another run. It was met by some eye rolls and bewilderment, sources said, because George did not back up his words with action in the series and the team has multiple free agents with decisions to make."
