I don't know but this game sucks.

It's to much to ask for two exciting primetime games back to back? Is it...?????

Damn Rams just crushing the poor Bears.

Bears aren’t a playoff team. Flukiest 5-1 team I’ve seen in recent years.

If the playoffs were to start today the 49ers & Saints won’t make it... I see somebody taking the Bears spot but the Rams are going to be tough to get over. Cardinals are pretty much a lock to make it IMO since they’re 2-0 in the division with both wins coming against the 49ers & Seahawks...

We’re heading into Week 8, that’s always when the season starts to get REAL.

No team is a lock to make it based on 5 wins and being 2-0 in the division. Any team can win any game in that division.

I had seen you were pulling for the Seahawks and I'm thinking "Has he already given up on the division because a team has won it's first 5 games?"

Then I saw you mention you just didn't like the Cardinals...does seem weird you would like them less than the Seahawks, given their success over the past 15 years or so.

The Niners are 1.5 games back of the Seahawks with 2 games left against them. The Seahawks should have lost to the Patriots, who you guys crushed. Niners are one game back of the Cards (of course the Cards beat them).

But it's still so early anything could happen. I'm not saying the Niners will make it and the Seahawks or Cards won't necessarily, but I think it's really early for anything. Just about any team could still go on a run. Of course it's pretty clear the NFC east sucks, though it wouldn't totally surprise me if Philly kind of got it together or even if the Giants started putting some wins together (though they have dug themselves a hole). But the Giants only lost to the Rams by a score, the Bears by 4 and the Steelers by 10. Then their last 2 games each by 1 and the game before that by 3. The only game they haven't been in is the Niners.

Realistically, I think the playoffs will likely be GB, TB, NO, the NFC east winner (likely Philly) and 3 NFC West teams...but that division will be a dogfight. There is a small chance all 4 make it if the Saints stumble a bit. Actually looking at the NFC east it's also interesting to see that Washington actually has the best pt differential and are a half game back of first.

It's pretty amazing the NFC West winner will be the 4 seed and host the best WC..probably host the 2nd best NFC West team or the Saints, possibly the Bucs.

Oh no my friend you definitely read wrong, I hate the Sea Chickens & Cowgirls the most by far out of any NFL teams... I was actually pulling for Seattle to win because like you said the Niners are a game back of the Cardinals & realistically I don’t see the 49ers catching Seattle as far as winning the NFC West division goes...

Even though they’re our division rival & they play us very tough I actually like the Cards & especially Kyler Murray & D-Hop. I like Fitzgerald as well... Even after the game a big smile came to my face seeing them take down Seattle after as you said all those game the Sea Chickens narrowly squeezed out of.

Good.

If you really hated us like you say you do, then I'm highly suspicious of what you say here.

Santa Clara is only 1.5 games back. Totally within reach. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Apparently they decided they could pay Watson or Hopkins but not both.

Hopkins deserves starter money, maybe even Pro Bowl QB money. But that contract along with however many years Watt has remaining is going to prevent them from being good enough.

I think they shipped out Brown and Clowney because of money reasons as well.

Brown held out for more money. Clowney was on the franchise tag. So yes, it ultimately came down to money.

Brown was a major need for us, so it was a godsend.

Houston got a 2nd for Brown, but then had to also give up two 1st's for Laremy Tunsil (To replace Brown), as well as pay him twice as much as Brown is currently making with us lol.

Honestly, they should have tried to trade Watt and get out from under that contract. I understand he's a big star but they weren't a contending team, just a marginal playoffs team when Watt had the biggest impact and before he signed that huge deal.

They didn't have to pay a franchise QB when they gave Watt that money but that contact probably caused them to move players out.

I think Suh got big money and he hasn't won much either. Also Buffalo gave a DT a big contract to around that time.

A guy like Donald has huge impact but otherwise, edge rushers have bigger impact. The Rams are going to have to win in the next year or two because of all the big contracts they've given out, though so far, their young OL and no-name defenders are playing well enough this season.

Floyd has played well the couple of times I've seen him so that helps but Donald and Ramsey are just two guys. Still not sure that defense will be good enough in the playoffs, unless Donald is getting like 4 sacks a game.

They should have hung onto Brown. But I don't really have an issue with them moving Clowney. He's not worth top DE money imo. But there was really no need to deal Watt either. They still have Watson on his rookie deal. So they shouldn't have money problems (cap). They just didn't want to pay those guys.
