MSNBC is definitely as biased as Fox News. It's the democrats stomping ground, period.

CNN is just fake news for ratings. Like Jon Stewart said in his interview on Fox News--CNN is biased towards sensationalism, and MSNBC wishes it was half as successful as Fox.

Successful at being FOS?

Yes, MSNBC wishes they were half as good at promoting BS. Thing is, they're not. That's why their consistently trail Fox News in the ratings.

Alas, not every outlet can be good at monetizing propaganda.

This is why when finding sources, you don't just look at one link. For example, look for information from the AP, Reuters, BBC, NPR, or even scholarly journals, for example, to see if they can corroborate.

But CNN and MSNBC are nowhere close to Fox in terms of bias, let alone Breitbart or OAN

There is no equivalent to Fox News on the left, and the closest thing to OAN or Breitbart is probably TYT

Every news source has a bias, but not every source is equally biased. It's really not that hard to understand, but some people feel the need to oversimplify this stuff so they can "but both sides" to make themselves feel superior.

MSNBC sans CNN actually report news that’s based on factual and researched evidence. Just compare the coverage going on at Fox News (it’s all Hunter Biden) to the other networks. Did Fox News even run a single story on Trump’s secret Chinese bank account or the fact that it paid nothing in taxes? How much is Fox News covering the actual facts of the coronavirus surge? Stop trying to paint false equivalences, especially since you and I both know where you get your information from.

Man this was beautifully well said. I’m a strong believer that racism can be eliminated but it takes a shift in mindset on the part of white people. I’m genuinely curious how you came to your current line of thinking about race.

The last race will be a run off between a dem and republicans for another senate seat

Thanks for your report! I'm hoping that Ossoff could pull this off.

As for Loeffler's seat, I'm pretty sure when the runoff begins in January ( I believe thats when it happens), at least a couple hundred million will be poured into that fight. But again, it's all about turnouts and liberals are notoriously bad a turning out for off-cycle elections.

No doubt. I'm embarrassed to say I've been one of those people. But I'll tell you this much, as a Georgia resident, I will absolutely be voting in that election and every one that follows after the state GOP declared war with all the crap they pulled during the governor's election. And the only way you can win a war is to fight back. Seems like tons of people are feeling the same way.

I am right there with you :)!!!!

24 hour news cycle is terrible

It's even worse with the Internet, speed is becoming more important these days, leading to worse accuracy cause you have to be the first one to break the story, and you can't wait til the 6 o'clock news or the morning paper anymore

Sucks but that's the world we gotta live in. Media literacy is more important than ever, and we're a pretty media illiterate country.

Man this was beautifully well said. I’m a strong believer that racism can be eliminated but it takes a shift in mindset on the part of white people. I’m genuinely curious how you came to your current line of thinking about race.

I went to grade school at a public school in Manhattan where kids were from everywhere. That's what I saw from an early age, a playground full of all races. That's who I played with. My three best friends at age six were black, puerto rican and white. I only fear what my intuition tells me to watch out for and your skin won't be the trigger, just the way you talk to and look at me.

So being in Florida was a major change of scenery and I learned all about white crackers and what they think and what they say. And it is pretty easy to see most of them were limited in experience and never learned to think independently. Even some of the ones with some education are stuck in mental prisons.

They inherited their views on race and with that inheritance comes a deep seated fear that it could all go sideways someday. Some of them actually do feel black people are vengeful and want them dead. So the history is baked into them. They don't claim to have any remorse for the past of their ancestors, yet they sure seem to still fear the karma of it.

To them affirmative action is akin to legislation hating on the white man and giving the minority person an advantage they don't deserve. So all of these old hatreds flow from two historical timelines, slavery and LBJ era legislation. These white people still carry all of that around inside of them. Some of them know it, some of them don't even know themselves well enough to know it, but they surely do by their words and deeds.

MAGA people are full of fear of a non-white majority. To them America means whiteness. This is mental illness that may not be treatable so you need to maintain a majority until they fade from the scene in a few generations. That's why there can be no letting up. The whole GOP strategy that culminated in Trump was predicated on sabotaging what the census told us, a non-white majority was happening. So they felt they could close the borders and prevent it and maintain white power.

in TX Senate race, Cornyn's lead used to be in double digits, but his polling lead has been eroding pretty steadily down to around 5% ahead. Considering the massive early voting in TX, there is a small chance there could be an upset in that race. Not predicting it, but I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility at this point

Yes, I was a solo strap hanger at age six. I've take the IRT down to the Village and go walking around. I'd go to Times Square as a kid and walk around. My parents did not have a leash on me at all. I saw lots of freaks out in the streets. Hippies, junkies, whores, crazies, it was fun.

I was in HS in NYC when that song came out. And while my HS was on the fringe on the LES, I didn't run into Jim Carroll, nor later did I run into William S Burroughs running after Jim Carroll.

Ok, I did see both of them at a poetry reading though a decade later.

Took the bus and subway to get to HS from the outer borough wasteland of Queens :-)

Spent much time taking the subway while not attending as much HS as I should have
