Glad to see him land another gig. And good on Philly for spending the cash on coaching and management rather than hiding behind the fact they spent a ton on players last summer.

Really sad to see him go. But at least, he's got a job. With the Bjorkgren hire, I've been wondering if KP will make Burke stay. He's been a fixture in Indiana's bench for as long as I can remember. Wish him luck and I hope he gets back to Indiana in the future.

Re: Sixers Hire Dan Burke to staff
Burke not returning had been an open secret amongst beat writers. Popeyes is gone too. Bayno is the only one to possibly return, as he and Pritchard go way back, and Bayno apparently works one on one with Oladipo and Sabonis.
Sounds like Dinwiddie probably made the connection here and when an offer came, Burke widely jumped on it rather than being left out in a lurch. Absolutely cannot blame him and wish him the absolute best. Had been with the Pacers since 1997, and on the bench since 2001.

starting to look like Pritchard connections are more important than Bjorkgren connections.
