I like for both a lot. Charlotte gets Ingram but had the depth to give up good players but getting the best overall player. Robin gets competitive immediately with three guys that averaged around 60 ppg combined IRL and could push for a playoff seed instead of being out of it.

Just a quick announcement/bookkeeping,

To be transparent, I am going to allow Strick to buyout Jordan Bell rather than waive him. As a newcomer he didn't realize there was a difference in how he needed to write up the transaction. He PM'd me and asked if it was to late to change it. Normally it would be but I am going to make an exception in this case due to him being new still to the game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a buyout with Jordan Bell.

I know he gets **** on for his trades (some well deserved, but I've been **** on too) but he wanted to at least be competitive.. and the only offers he has been getting was for Ingram, so that's an immediate way to get better getting 2 guys that are all-star caliber in Vuc/FVV on cheap deals and Bojan who is a bomber.. I like it. And like I said for hoffa, he can pair Ingram with a bunch of young and interesting players like Morant/JJJ/Edwards.

I'm fine with the Strick thing! Although I wish I knew about exempt stuff when 2010 heisted my ass for a 1st rounder while taking Ulis and EL'ing him :lol:

I think that is the one rule that new GM's to the league don't utilize because its not that specific but glad bish did right by you on the move!

i don't hate the move for all parties but it does even enhance the point that the conley trade made absolutely no sense at the time. Now he has FVV which basically makes conley useless.

Yeah, I thought the difference was waiving and releasing where one did the function of a buyout and the other is pay it year by year.

Thank you again for clearing that up. Now I don’t have to beg with multiple 2nds to get him off my roster :lol:

I don't rate Conley as high as Robin did apparently but he still should be good in the sim. IRL it would be a diff story though with trades.

Also FVV is a combo guard.. can play next to Lowry, i'd play him next to Kemba, I'm sure playing next to Conley is totally fine too. Also over $300 in FA next year + two first rounders for Robin next year.. ain't mad at the position he's in even though it obviously couldve been better

the morant/edwards/engram/JJJ is a really nice young core that is on the way up. Probably a legit playoff contender and can grow in the future.

hoffa went from a deep team to basically being 6 man deep really...probably would have been nicer to execute that trade earlier so he could have scooped up some better fitting players but now hes got to get that depth back with that $200 remaining.
