His per game stats were held down quite a bit because he wasn't given starter minutes. He was 3.5 stars and his real life counting stats went up so he should be 3.5 minimum, probably 4. Definite upgrade over Tristan Thompson and Saric wouldn't get minutes with my big rotation being Whiteside/Gordon/Bryant all getting about 30+ mpg.
I like the deal for both sides. Strick needed some cap flexibility both this year and next and Saric should get some burn for him and Thompson will replace Whiteside's boards but not his rim protection. He also has some potential for the pick swap.
Again, I like it for both sides. Of course I'm bias, but those are the kind of deals I like to make where I believe both sides win.
