Im still going Deni, i think, despite his shooting issues. I really like his play off ball and he just seems like a good asset offensively. I like Haliburton but he can be had a little lower.

With that said trading back is probably my move. Someone in this draft will probably be a himerun but it seems like luck at this point.

- High bust rate for international prospects
- Ceiling is a role player 3rd, 4th or 5th option

Not entirely sure why people want this guy at #4. He is vastly overrated a large part due to Luka Doncic success in the NBA.

Yeah I loled at the sentence "Despite his shooting issues, I really like his off-ball play"

Guys we're picking #4. You shouldn't be writing sentences like that about your top 5 pick.

Id be content with a 3rd option from these guys. I dont see any obvious choice.

As far as him being international, theres plenty of them that are very good players in the NBA so idk of i get that logic. Is it riskier? Maybe but which of these guys is sure fire 1st or 2nd option.

Bold. I give Edwards credit for putting the workout on ESPN2. He doesn't seem to have much to gain from it.

Maybe a poor choice of words on my part. It wasn't just eloquence. They both seemed out of it and disinterested. Like they haven't really analyzed themselves at all.

I can't seem to find those interviews on Youtube, so unfortunately I don't have a way to post it.

I don't see nothing wrong in going for a playmaker,we don't have a player like Ball,Hayes, Haliburton or Lewis. Our points aren't exactly playmakers and White is much more a combo than a pure guard so I believe the odds are for drafting a point unless AK is sold about Deni which is project too.Drafting a playmaker makes sense if we're going to develop players at the same time opening cap space for signing a star in 2021.AK is probably aware that we don't have a playoff roster so looking for a player who can make our young guys better makes sense.
I'm not so high on Deni after watching more film and I'm beginning to believe that drafting a point can be a the best option for us . Ball wouldn't be my first choice . I'd prefer Haliburton,Lewis or Hayes,in that order.

Yeah, just like most other workouts. And unlike the various YouTube videos, live with everyone watching just for you. Unless you’re telling me it’s a recording?

Lord, please bless us with the Wolves taking Ball #1 overall. It ensures that we get a top 2-3 player on our board.

All workouts post Yi Jianlian have been stupidly unimpressive.

And none have been live. I’m interested personally and will definitely watch.

Data published recently?

If that's the case, good news on weight, height is as expected.

Yes I found a tweet.

Heavier than Fox coming out and very very close dimensionally.

Top Point Guards in the NBA Heights

Kyle Lowry 1.83 m
Trae Young 1.85 m
Kemba Walker 1.83 m
Chris Paul 1.85 m
Kyrie Irving 1.88 m
Russell Westbrook 1.91 m
Damien Lillard 1.88 m
Steph Curry 1.91 m

We keep hearing that "tall point guards" are dominant in the NBA. How come none or next to none of them are tall? Being an extra tall point guard may help a little bit but isn't a major factor and way overblown. Only really short point guards 5'9-5'10 really seem to struggle in the NBA.

Nothing wrong at all with those measurements. Just needs to add an extra 10-15 pounds. Way overblown his physical profile issue. His measurements are similar to Kyrie Irvings and he's not super short.

With that problem solved, why again is Kira Lewis Jr so low in this draft per mocks? NBAdraft.net has them going #27 which I considered a phoney mock draft but he seems like a clear top 10 pick to me.

Teams will regret passing on him.

Devin Vassell?

Scored less, rebounded less, assisted less, and stole less than Haliburton.

Haliburton also shot a higher percentage from 2, from 3, and from the FT line.

Fair enough. I like Haliburton. I think he'll be a safe pick. Could be a quality starting point guard in the NBA. Has a slightly better Kris Dunn type ceiling coming into the NBA (which Dunn never reached his ceiling).

We’re still 3 weeks away? Plenty of movement to be had. There’s been a lot of buzz that Lewis was being mocked too low.

halliburton played 8 more mpg than vassell did. vassell outscored and outrebounded him on a per-minute basis

Has a slightly better Kris Dunn type ceiling coming into the NBA (which Dunn never reached his ceiling). Concerning stat that was pointed out with Haliburton is he started the season pretty solid at Iowa State and then crashed and semi struggled in the 2nd half. He's older than some of these prospects by over a year as well. Fully understand why people prefer other higher ceiling prospects over Haliburton and taking Haliburton at #7 to #12 seems like a realistic place

Hali hurt his hand in December and played hurt till the season ended.

"Iowa State men's basketball: Tyrese Haliburton likely out at least a week with wrist injury - Sports - The Ames Tribune - Ames, IA" https://www.amestrib.com/sports/20200208/iowa-state-mens-basketball-tyrese-haliburton-likely-out-at-least-week-with-wrist-injury?template=ampart

Haliburton originally injured the wrist in a December practice and missed the Cyclones' loss to Florida A&M on New Year's Eve. This time, he landed on the same wrist late in the first half in ISU's eventual 73-63 win over the Wildcats at Hilton Coliseum in which the Cyclones improved to 10-13 in the season and 3-7 in Big 12 play.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

Thank you. That would potentially explain it.

This draft is really loaded with point guards. Definitely makes sense AK focuses on this.
