Your premise is inaccurate.

It's apparent that you don't even know what my premise is. So why would you thoughts be relevant?

Wait a minute. Brooks outcoached someone (let alone Popovich)? Scott Brooks? :jawdrop:

Yeah. As crazy as it sounds, Popovich and the Spurs coaching staff couldn't provide an answer to the play which Ibaka and/or Perkins setting a high screen for Durant near wings/corners which put Diaw on KD. It was bread and butter for the Thunder in the last 3 games. Also Brooks' adjustments on Ginobili's defense were pretty much on point. They became less hesitant to take the switches on Ginobili and Westbrook/Durant did a good job on Ginobili. I believe, in the last 2 games, the Thunder were defending Ginobili straight up with Westbrook, not Parker.

It was not the only time Popovich got outcoached by some not-so-great coach. In 2006, it took Popovich too long to figure out Avery Johnson's schemes. The Spurs shouldn't be down by 1-3 in that series. If it weren't for Ginobili's mistake at the end of game 7, the Spurs still would win the series but they shouldn't be in that situation to begin with.
The issue with per75 numbers;
36pts on 27 fga/9 fta in 36 mins, does this mean he'd keep up the efficiency to get 48pts on 36fga/12fta in 48 mins?
The answer; NO. He's human, not a linearly working machine.
Per75 is efficiency rate, not actual production.
