I think this is a great idea and the timing seems about right for us as a community to try something like this. We have our own unique fan culture here and if that could be transmitted through this new medium we might have something special on our hands.

RE: actually contributing to the show, definitely curious about this but not sure how much of a time commitment I could realistically make since I have a full time job and a baby daughter at home which take up quite a bit of my time. Maybe some random guest contributions?

For me it’s al about setting up a time we can get use to. Also setting up a time our viewers know when to find us. Example we always post a new vid every Monday or Friday etc. it’s best for your followers to know when to expect a new podcast. Consistency really helps

I'm actually getting ready to start a Knicks Podcast with a friend of mine. Haven't come close to working all the details out but, would love a partnership of any sort with Realgm once we're (Knyksallday) is up and running.

I talked with Macri at one of his meetups at a bar around the corner from the Garden, about 18 months ago. Watching the game with a large crowd of Knicks fans was great. He was personable and low key, mid 30's, and you could see he was trying to build up a following. He still does joint podcasts with other pods, so he's probably not (yet) too big for his britches to work with a RealGM pod.

That’s cool. If he ever has one again - assuming we don’t end up as part of the zombie COVID apocalypse - I’d meet up with you. Sounds like a good time. Then afterwards, we could hook up with Angry Fatboy for the real fun.
