Hi everyone ... I usually lurk but figured I would jump in. How about this...

#1 for #3... and a 2022 1st from Charlotte.

Charlotte takes Wiseman. GS takes Deni or trades out. With LaMelo possibly still sitting there at 3...

Trade #3 to Knicks for #8 and one of the many 2021 1st rounders they have for next year.

If we trade once, I am all for trading again.

I would require the Knicks own 2021 top 3 protected.

At 8, we still have a shot at Deni, Okoro, Williams, OO, Haliburton, or Toppin. I'm fine with those odds considering the assets we pick up.

CHI, Charlotte, and even NYN are all solid candidates for draft-time trades ... seems Wiseman has traction with Charlotte and Ball is the guy I believe the Bulls are eyeing. Trade down to 3, then trade down to 4, then trade down to 8.

Pick up 3 nice assets and draft #8 ... Charlotte 2022 unprotected FRP & SRP, CHI 2021 FRP, NYN 1/2 FRP

At #8 we could potentially pick from Vassell, Okoro, Williams, Okungwu, Toppin assuming Ball, Wiseman, and Edwards are off the table.

Agree, get some from Chicago too on the way down. But, there is still 4 picks after picks 3/4 on the way to 8. 5 to 7 of the names you listed might all be gone, could be all I suppose. Someone likely takes a leap on Deni in top 10 as well. Then you have barn burning shooters with size and any of them could supplant any of the names listed.

I don't necessarily feel great about trading all the way down to 12. We have the first pick, so we should get a top tier guy. If we think we can get the player we want at 12, that's fine, but otherwise I think we should at least stay in the range of Hayes, OO at worst.

Less than one percent chance a team will trade an unprotected 2021 first round pick. And yet, you have two happening.

What would the T'Wolves give up for Covington back?

Rosas traded Covington not only for his trade value at the time, but also he didn't fit the timeline with Towns (and now Russell). Minny fans would be willing to give more than Rosas.

The other odd thing was that the Towns-Covington defensive pairing was the worst two-man pairing on the team!

I agree with Baseline that Rosas wouldn’t bring him back. Personally, I would, but to play SF and not PF, and I’d give up Culver for him. However, I think realistically, several teams would offer more than Rosas.

I wanted Rubio & Derozan as well. Was pissed we took Flynn. Wasn't even thinking of Curry tbh

The funny thing is, I think part of the timeline issue was he was slotted too high on the team because that's what we had at the time He needed to be the third option. Now he wouldn't be. And as a complementary role player, age would't be as much an issue.

Heck no RJ was one of the worst players in the league last season and is horribly overated.

i think he picked up the slack a bit 2nd half of the season..it takes time for guard's game to translate in the NBA.

Hence why wolves shouldn’t give up on Culver.
I rather have Edwards and Culver over Barrett and Hayes/Okoro.

Collins and Reddish for the 1 and I am happy. Don't love it, but better than other trades I am seeing not involving Simmons or other top tier guys
