Geezus, you see his bat speed? He hit his 8th and 9th homeruns today against the Pirates.

We wasted enough money on Soriano no need to buy HGH

I was only joking about trading although I wouldn't call Ankiel a flash in the pan. He's shown he is a HR hitter in the minors and now in the majors.

I would rather have Ankiel than Pie.
Ankiel has been the spark the Cardinals needed.
We would have a 4-5 game lead if we had Ankiel.

The one thing is trading with the Cards is a bad idea in general unless it's a guarantee your going to win the trade. But I would definetly try to steal him away through free agency the first chance they get.

Same was said about Braun and he keeps producing, sure they're completely different players, Braun a top prospect, while Ankiel was fighting to keep his career, but for the last month, he can still produce at a high rate, and help lead them into the post season.

No, but he does look very good right now. Maybe a 20-25 HR guy, .280 hitter.

Remember the last trade we made with the Cardinals? Actually a while back. We gave them some guy named Brock.

I doubt it. Eventually pitchers will figure out how to get Braun and Ankiel out.

On top of that look at Ankiels minor league numbers. He was tearing it up there and hasn't missed a step in the transition to the majors.

Pie's numbers in the minors are better than Rasmus'. Higher OBP, higher SLG.

Pie SHOULD be hell for opposing teams as well.
