Game 7: Vikings at Packers - Noon - Fox

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Nov 1, 2020 10:42 am

Very windy conditions today at Lambeau.

Cook is playing.

Kevin Burkhardt, Daryl Johnston on the call.

Line opened Packers -6.5, went to -7 and is now -6.

Go Pack!
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If I were a gambling man I'd be hammering GB -6.

If it is as gusty at Lambeau as it was last night in Western Wisconsin, then punting, longer FG attempts, and long passes could be....interesting..... Maybe more runs and dink-and-dunk passes by both sides today?

I hope Dillon has a better game. He didn't have any holes to run through last game, but he also looked tentative finishing runs. I'd like to see a screen pass to him to get him the ball in space.

Just saw a video of Crosby attempting a FG from 47 yards and about halfway the wind completely knocked it down and it landed in the end zone.

With Jones out again, I have complete confidence in Williams. I never would have thought that in previous seasons. Whatever he did in the offseason to get in better shape, he should have done years ago.

Wind like this can make for a sloppy weird day.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Rodgers might be at his best when he's not looking downfield.

Gotta admit I was wrong about Williams. Thought he was just a guy, but I kinda love him.

He's a different back this year.

The Vikings have one weapon. How the hell do they let him run roughshod all over the field?

Why are packers defenses consistently full of pathetic tacklers every year?

It's hard to say if they are bad tacklers when they don't even get a hand on the ball carrier.

Nice. Dillon killed someone on his first carry.
