feel like we're due for a b.s. walkoff defensive td overtime win

This has been Monty's best game as a Bear.

Brutal loss. That should be the end of the Nick Foles experiment. Bears might be under .500 by the time they are done playing the Packers in a couple weeks.

The better team won. A top 10 defense with a bottom 3 offense mixed with a little bit of luck. Mediocrity thou name is Da Bears.

It’s unfortunate this game was close. Some people will come away thinking ‘Well they lost but on to next week, it was close’

I feel bad for this defense

once again, i'm baffled by people being angry at nagy when we're bleeding linemen and foles is so bad that people* are unironically calling for trubisky to play again. just can't make up for that talent deficit even if the playcalling was perfect

*(i might be one of those people tbh)

I was team "not Mitch" but foles isn't really the answer either

We are dealing with a lot with the offensive line and what not. But other teams are dealing with injuries too and many of them seem to be finding ways to manage. We need to make a move to shake up the line. But when your line is bad, you need somebody that can improv and Nick just can’t do that. I’m not saying Mitch is a world beater or anything. But that’s the one thing that he CAN do. He has shown that he can make something out of nothing instead of just giving in to easy sacks.

oh yeah no, i think switching back to mitch is a reasonable move. a statue behind this offensive line is just not working out, and it's not like foles isn't also prone to awful decisionmaking

i'm just saying...when it takes five starts for people to go "actually maybe mitch trubisky is our best option," you have a terrible qb situation

you keep saying that "foles beat brady." THAT's junk. foles's TEAM beat brady's TEAM. it's one thing if foles played as well, but he didn't

so yes, you could argue that mack beat brady more than you could that foles beat brady. exactly my point

The Bears would truly have to have an insane collapse to not make the playoffs this year.

wouldn't even require a collapse, let alone an insane one. they're on track for 10-6, so it would probably only take a single upset to miss the playoffs

lol, who's winning next Monday? The Bears or the Rams?

On track for 10-6...they're 5-1 my friend and what NFC teams are catching them to keep them out of the playoffs?

i'm thinking ryan pace would pull the lever for 10-6 real quick at the moment

at this point, it would absolutely be better for the long term future of the bears if they lost out instead of stringing together a b.s. playoff run

of course they'll split the difference and end up 8-8
