Can Kevin Love still play this game well?

Get Cleveland to send MN ten thousand future FRPs to take Kevin Love and get our #1? This would be a good team to get a number of future FRPs from. If Kevin can still play, or shoot well, we could ride out his rottern deal with it helping to carry a large trading value slot over the cap for future use.

What is everyone's thoughts on trading Nos. 1 and 17 to the Bulls for No. 4 and an unprotected pick in next year's draft? Would the Bulls even go for it?

I don't believe Chicago will give up a 2021 first round pick to move up three spots, even with it being the first overall pick. Is the Brooklyn pick too little/much compensation?

Until someone else really erupts in pre-draft workouts, I think there is a three man tier at the top, based on their upsides. Unfortunately, people tend to over-value what they have, and under-value what they don’t. On these boards, you see Bulls fans talk about a four man first tier, and an occasional ATL fan saying the top 6 picks are worth the same. I could see the Bulls front office falling in love with the prospects that are likely available to them at #4, and undervaluing the #1 pick, so they may say no.

I think it’s fair value, but there is no guarantee CHI will be a bottom five team next year In the East (they were constantly injured), and even if they are, there is no guarantee they will win a top 4 spot on the lottery. If we truly don’t like any of the top 3 guys, then sure - great deal. However, I suspect this dislike of the top three comes more from fans trying to feel smart, rather than the actual front office, who’s jobs are often on the line to make the right pick.

Wait, what? Are you saying your opinion is Chris Paul is a negative contract to the tune of two 1sts to move him?

OKC actually gets#8 and our #17 to move CP3. Could be philly's first instead of ours. And they could get a player like Randle also from the Knicks.

Hawks Leak Info - Thread One
Hi guys. I’m connected to someone very high up at the Hawks who would know. Sometimes I ask him/her questions and they respond. I have some info from the last few weeks up to today and figured I’d finally share. I’m a regular poster but anonymity is key.

1. There is A LOT of pressure to trade up for Edwards. Ressler, the whole business side, even members of the team (Trae) want him. The basketball side likes him but worries about his attitude without a strong leader on the team. The price is high but Kevin may be a casualty to get Edwards especially if Ball goes #1.

2. Trae, Hunter and Cam are off limits right now. Everyone else is being talked about in various deals, various degrees of seriousness. We’ll see how it goes but don’t expect any of those three to be moved for anything and ignore any trades with them. Yes, Capela could be moved as well if a big deal comes.

A few thoughts about possible ATL trade.

1) they wont be afraid to trade up, if they think Antman is the best player of this draft
2) however, last year they traded #8, #17, #35 to get Hunter. I doubt they will include him in a deal. Maybe Reddish might be a part of deal
3) with Capella-Collins-Hunter-Edwards-Young starting five, they can make a run next season, they might gamble that their 2021 pick will be low. Would you be okay with #1 for #6, ATL 2021 unprotected FRP?

I dont want Deandre Hunter at all, people here complain about Culver yet Hunter is a year and a half older and played worse than Culver did as a rookie.
I prefer the wolves trade with Charlotte I don’t see much of a difference between picks 6-17 in the draft this year.

I also don't get all the Hunter love & didn't see enough flash in his game that says I gotta have that? I'd also say the same about PJ Washington as well....imo, better & showed more than Hunter...but neither imo are guys with high enough ceilings that I'd trade back for?

I do like the idea of trading back in this draft especially...taking in theory maybe a lower ceiling but higher floor guy (or other preferred analogy...a double va home run guy)...but then that 2nd piece for the trade back...I want more than high ceiling type...so I prefer Reddish or RJ Barrett type of deals....riskier deal potentially but if hits bigger chance you really move the needle....this team still best to hedge on needle movers until KAT & DLo become more established as bona-fide core pieces to championship team.

Magic Give: A. Gordon
Magic Get: Randle + Spellman + #27

Knicks Give: #8 + Randle + #27
Knicks Get: LaVine + #17

Bulls Give: LaVine + #4
Bulls Get: #1 + Johnson + Evans

Wolves Give: #1 + #17 + Johnson + Spellman + Evans
Wolves Get: #4 + #8 + A. Gordon

I think Rosas tries for a protected 2021 Bulls 1st, but Bulls will probably feel LaVine is enough of a price moving from #4 to #1.

Rosas walks away from Wiseman, Ball and Edwards (from my POV Wiseman is only one that hurts, but with the drama already started, so be it). At #4 and #8 he gets two players that he feels are BPA and best fit for his 1-3-1.

Towns
Gordon | Hernangomez
Culver or #4 or #8
Beasley | Okogie or Culver
Russell

They are trading A. Gordon, and Isaac is injured. How is that?

Gordon for Randle trade will create the worst defensive frontcourt in entire NBA Vuc+Randle. How is that?

if we could pull off 4-8 and Gordon count me in.
