I wouldn't mind Anthony. My concern with him, in my limited exposure to his game, is that he seems to not be much of a skilled or willing passer.

He looks to be a natural scorer and when fully developed, projects to be a solid threat at all three levels.

My PG preference remains with Terry if he's there at 20. Looks to have Trey Young kinda upside skill-wise and is slightly physically bigger than him.

You don't see skills in Anthony? I agree passing may be his weak point, but do not think he is incapable or bad at it. He is a scoring first guard.

I wouldn't want to put Trey Young expections on him. Scouting reports say ball creative and penetration is his weakness. Young is very explosive and fast, from Scouting reports that's not Terry. It says he primary a 3 point shooter and a ball care taker.

Looking at prospects, there are a lot of guards i would take over Hampton. I have Quickley ahead of Hampton

Skilled passer*

Again, my sample size is very much a sample size so haven't watched much of Anthony, but his passing skills, or lack thereof, was something that I noticed. He's very much a score-first guard.

Terry complements his array of scoring skills with a creative and skilled passing touch. He's flinging quick entries and cross-court whip passes reminiscent of guys like Young and Curry. From what I've seen of him, he doesn't have the handles or the first step of those players but is capable of finishing around the rim when challenged.

Needless to say, I'm high o him.

He's a guy I think MIGHT be really good with a lesser role and more talent around him.

He's tough. I think he's a better shooter then his numbers. He's alethic and quick. I don't really like this type of player, but I see some Kemba in him. Which is good value at #20.

Looks like some decent PG prospects will be there at #20, not sure how to rank them since all of them have their issues.

Kira Lewis Jr.

Cole Anthony

Tyrell Terry

Tyrese Maxey

Tre Jones

Malachi Flynn

How would you rank these PG's for us?

2.Tyrell
3.Cole
4.Tyrese
5.Malachi
6.Tre

Wonder if Miami is looking to draft a 3pt shooter just in case they move a 3pt shooter or 2? Like going after a big fish who also can hit 3s and need another one for the rotation.

Miami Heat has interviewed Quickley twice, and has interviewed Jahius Ramsey, Isaiah Stewart, Ashton Hagens and Grant Riller.

Schedule to workout Jaden McDaniels, Daniel Oturu, and Nico Mannion. Mannion and Oturu will do a group workout. McDaniels will likely be an individual workout.

Has expressed interest in Bane and Maxey

Hasn't shown interest in Carey

I have a strange feeling Heat will trade this pick and move to the second round

If we're looking at all these players, I doubt it.

RJ Hampton- I like him he is a project though and likely will not be there still at 20. has a Daquan Cook comp. shot should improve in the pros, likes to drive. big 2 guard. Question on him is does he have that dog? how bad does he want it? will he continue to work hard? Depends on his interview but he has all the tools to be good.

I don't know if I could trim it o five dolphinatik. I like a lot of guys in this draft. Its very exciting actually.

I like:

Jalen Smith
Zeke Nnaji
Daniel Oturu
Reggie Perry

Tyrese Maxey
Immanuel Quickley
Tyrell Terry
Tre Jones

I'd love to get one big and one small from each of those groups.

I'd say my two favorite guys might be Jalen Smith and Maxey. With Quickley in 3rd place.

Cole had a down year for his standards he was asked to do a lot and carry a historically bad UNC team. He likes to pass and was passing a lot but his teammates couldnt hit the bottom of a swimming pool. He will do better in the NBA where he is surrounded by better players. I would comp his ceiling as Kevin Johnson where ppl think he is a wanna be iverson I disagree.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Interesting KJ comparison.

Yea, I've seen a few reviews that have talked about Anthony being built for the NBA and not to put too much stock into his substandard college season and site the poor play of his teammates.

You going to lose it if we draft IQ at 20, and Reed with a buy in in the 2nd.

For those wondering about Tre Jones and why Miami would look at him, it's probably because Butler already has a connection with Tre Jones through Tyrus who he was teammates with in Minnesota. Butler may have given Miami's front office some insight about the makeup of Tre since he's known him for a few years now.

I think he's a SG more then a PG, but I can't hate on a pick that brings elite shooting, good size and (hopefully) decent athleticism.

If he's quick enough to guard PG's, I think on offense we can fit him in next to Herro/Jimmy/Bam and cover for his lack of playmaking.

I just see him as an Eddie House role
