You can be a sanctuary city if you want but don't expect us to give you money that should be going to our citizens for your agenda. You can have "peaceful protests" if you want but don't expect the federal government to pay for the cleanup of the looting and rioting you are allowing to go on in these Cities. Again not the Federal Government's responsibility.
Always interesting to see this argument. Democratic run states aren't asking for a bailout due to lawlessness. There asking for federal help because at the beginning of the pandemic, they had to bid against themselves and be price gauge for PPE and ventilators because as a nation we didn't even have enough of it.
Knowing the 1st case of covid was in early February. The federal govt didn't begin to secure and restock PPE and ventilators until the end of March, beginning of April. Basically 30 days later, and by then it was too late and pandemic was already widespread and over whelmed the health care system.
Then to top all that off, failed to pass a 2nd stimulus under the guise of "The lawless democratic run cities don't deserve a bailout" FOH....
McDonald Trump panicked and many americans have suffered for it, and tomorrow the roosters come home to roast.
