Also that speculation is so bad: "[P]erhaps because teams are in search of the next Luka Doncic."

Doncic's success likely makes evaluators more bullish on the ability of young Euros to translate, but there is no way anybody thinks they're getting the next Luka with Deni, although there is a lot to like about him.

'But Doncic was MVP and Deni is MVP'. That's where the comparison should end.

Reminds me of the early 2000’s when Dirk took off and we saw the likes of Nikolas Tskitishvili, Maciej Lampe, Pavel Pokodzline’s draft stock sky rocket. Time is a flat circle.

To be serious, I’m not super high on him. If I get my pick of the overseas prospects I’m going with Hayes.

Deni seems like a pretty massive risk based on his shooting numbers.

Raw talent I'd say he's the 3rd best prospect behind Wiseman and Edwards. But he's a project and I doubt there's anything serious about our interest other than doing their due diligence just in case he falls past the lotto.

I like Deni and would be happy if we found a way to get him while keeping Giannis and Middleton. Hard to imagine it happening without getting rid of one of those two guys though and that would make us a worse team.

Would be really excited to get Cole Anthony at 24 but I doubt there's any chance of that happening.

More than anything, I'd like to see the Bucks get another pick in the lower half of the first round. I see a few players mocked there who I think can be cheap rotational players.

If we are looking to move Middleton for Wiggins + #2 and get Bogdon.

PG- Killian Hayes
SG- Bogdon, DDV
SF- Wiggins
PF- Giannis
C- Lopez

Get mentally prepared for wiggins and 2 for Mids :)

Probably just doing their due diligence on an interesting prospect.

Probably that but it means that deals like these at least crossed their minds.

Or, because it's a big-time sellers market, Bledsoe (+#24?) has more juice than people realize. Atlanta offering up #6 for now talent might create a ripple effect across the trade market.

Haliburton is the perfect PG for a Giannis lead team.

GS still needs to throw in more to get Middleton.

90 of 100 NBA threes is impressive no matter what side you are on for this argument

These things are not the same.

My fault for getting into a ridiculous discussion.

I know, that’s where I’m at too now. Cheers anyways, have a good day.

He really is. Although I think Killian has more upside and also fits in very well. They both can shoot it and pass it.

Problem is - Haliburton is ideal only if... you have a second scoring option like Midds.

Theoretically Hayes can shoot but he didn't exactly shoot well last year. I like him as long term prospect but I don't think he's ready to start especially for a team that actually wants to be good.

That's not to say hed be a bad pick at 2, in a draft without many guys with high ceilings he seems to have one. Id just caution expecting much year one.

Honestly I don't know if there's a single player in this draft that can be a good starter day 1. Some guys like Hali or Vassell could be ok as a role player and Toppin can probably give you some scoring.

Tin foil cap on. This didn't happen and it's just a tease for the Giannis to Warriors crowd.

People who think GSW would move #2 for Midds instead are off their rockets.

He shot 46% overall, 39% from three, and 91% from the line as a 18 year old in the EuroCup at 27 minutes a game. I'd say that is impressive.
