Florida Republicans reduced the Democrats’ advantage to roughly 6,000 ballots cast in the first two and a half hours of voting in the state, according to Rep. Michael Waltz (R-FL).

Democrats went into Election Day with a 108,123 advantage in total ballots cast. That was due, primarily, to the increase in mailed-in votes, though the GOP consistently reduced their opposition’s overall lead via early voting. At the end of the early voting period, Republicans had outpaced Democrats in early, in-person voting by over 558,000 votes.

Florida is done. Trump took it. If you know what the Dems were looking for in early numbers and didn't get you'd know Florida has been done for days.

Here are the numbers from Florida.gov for VBM + EV. Dems ahead approx 673,000 with VBM and Reps ahead by approx 558,000 with EV. That leaves Dems with a 115,000 advantage going into today.

https://countyballotfiles.floridados.gov/VoteByMailEarlyVotingReports/PublicStats

They are getting absolutely annihilated right now the Reps are 280,000 election day votes ahead. The latest R-D numbers are Reps +170,007. That number is VBM+EV+ED. It's the complete total.

Mail-In Ballots are working. Record low invalidations due to voter education. Many states do not have a backlog of mail ballots to count, because so many were sent in early.

Judge Emmett Sullivan ordered all Post Offices to inspect the premises for any remaining ballots and to have them delivered TODAY.

So you did all that analysis only to arrive at the same number? The point is that Republicans really have to run up the score because Trump only won Florida in 2016 by 112,000 votes. You have to factor that Biden is going to take a higher percentage of Republican votes than Trump will take Democratic votes, then if you have Unaffiliated voters leaning Biden that leaves a smaller margin of error for Republicans which means they need a higher turnout. That’s why you have Republicans encouraging election day get out the vote.

good news for Biden.

I looked at the breakout of 300k:

Read on Twitter

Of the 300k, 160k is DC/NY/NJ/West Coast. Around 41k is UT/WA.

I need to know what the Suncoast region is, but only 3,490 in South Florida isn't too bad.

The most important ones are around 22k in Arizona and maybe around less than 10k in PA. Let's hope those turn around quick.

He’s a national hero. Just goes to show you the difference Federal judges make! If there’s no other reason to keep a Democrat in the Presidency and Senate, it’s judges. Republicans figured that out decades ago.

Dejoy is criminal. He needs to be investigated after this. Both him and Trump.

Mail in voting is great.

Oh man, I'm on pins and needles right now. I'd managed to curb my emotions on this pretty well until today.

Polls of voters in battleground states split between reopening economy and handling the virus properly is clearly falling into the same Dem/GOP split. Every single one the majority prioritizes handing the virus. In AZ the spread is 10, in OH it is 6. IOW, every state polled the majority favors the Dem agenda.

I just couldn't risk it being in FL, but in the future I hope it will be without issues.

Just an FYI - ignore all exit polls. They're only based on election day voters.

I'm sorry but there is no possible way you are getting more votes from us than we are from you. You'll see.

But sure, if everything breaks your way by enough of a margin you can do anything.

The Economist predicts chances of Biden winning now are 97%, with an 80% chance the Dems take the Senate.
This is on the optimistic end of the spectrum, but not by much.
They don't say anyting about who the Knicks will draft.

Great point that is especially true this election. Personally I think they should not be allowed at all.
