Have to admit that’s pretty depressing

If the deep throats are to be believed with last years draft and this years that's 6 wasted #1 picks in two years.

Potentially yes but let's see how it pans out nothing is certain yet but outcome is looking dreary

I have already used some examples of great players/centers like Gobert, Bam and Jokic who were NON lottery picks. same can be said for other positions. If you do a good job of analyzing talent you might be able to come away with 3 future starters. Not just one.
if 3 for 1 happens, I for pone will so freakin pizzed off.

Totally agree.
If a team like the Knicks doesn't see the value at 26 and 30 that's good for us. It's actually going to be hard to not pick a good prospect there because there's so many available.
A team like the Knicks not biting is Danny getting saved from himself.
Plus 14 easily could be better than whoever we would take 8-10

I sorta agree killan hayes and haliburton and a few others have distanced themselves I agree 3 for 1 is to much. But 2 for 1 and bum player is swallowable for a handful of players.

In fact a trade of 3 potential good players for just 1, is actually 4 for 1 if you consider R Williams gets pushed to 3rd center?
That is a waste of 4 potentially good players for one potentially very good player. And I hate it. Last year I screamed to draft B Clarke. TWICE Ainge passed. Instead we get a 6'6 no ceiling CENTER who missed his 1st 25 NBA 3s.. (Grant Williams) Romeo Langford who looks 2 years away from being 2 years away. and a 5'11 shooting guard (Edwards)
Jesus, If Rob Williams got a really good chance, and I mean an extensive opportunity. Not just 5 mins here, no game played then another 7 min. and he looked bad, I might understand. But he actually looked good and had good production in his small sample. But enough to merit more PT. Instead he will be buried further than ever.
I don't normally blow up, but when I do... this would be one of those times..

This is silly, Okongwu is a MUCH better athlete then Williams, he is a better shooter, the only thing they have in common is they both block shots.

I expect he'll blow it. But what if he doesn't? What if he ends up getting Woodard, Bey and Reed and Quickley in the 2nd? That's the kind of draft that would shut me up for years. That type of draft helps give Kemba rest, replaces Hayward and Theis when they leave and turns our bench from a negative to a major positive. With a better bench I think we would have made the Finals. Danny failed last year but maybe he'll surprise and hit it out of the park.

Is okongwu better than Achiuwa?
That is not at all clear.

It's actually gonna be hard to screw up 26 and 30. There are so many good prospects available in that range.
