awards are earned in spring not given in auttum.

last year at this moment bayern was crap.
then they gained momentum.

No one knows what will happen in 6 months.

Or maybe vampires force them to pee in a bottle and half their roster gets suspended.

How are they doing for injuries?

one or 2 major players injured and a season is lost.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

Well, Sané and Gnabry were injured.
Helps if you have guys like Coman and Douglas Costa...

especially Coman, the man of the match against Madrid.
Only in terms of yellow cards was Madrid better than Munich.

Unlike last season. Bayern are beatable. Hoffenheim destroyed them a couple weeks back.

The losses of Coutinho and Thiago will really hurt them later in the season.

Wow people are really underestimating Bayern's reserves quality. I hate that Thiago is gone, but, Tollisso is definitely showing why he got picked up two years ago, giving Bayern three world class midfielders. Javi is still a top level destroyer and he can definitely step in as a player. And its not like he can't hold his own in a pass heavy style of Bayern. The addition of Costa is huge. He is far a better player compared to Perisic. And honestly, Couthino's numbers look like he was good, but he really was not a central contributor to the team winning. I don't care about Sarr, but having a healthy Henandez and Sule is a massive upgrade to one of the world's best defences. The only real question mark in terms of the reserves is whether Roca and Choupo Moting can step up if injuries need them to start a bunch of games. I personally really like Roca's game and think he will start to show he belongs in the rotation in a couple months.
That Hoffenheim game was an outlier. Something that was bound to happen after going for so long without any losses from players just not showing up. Bayern's weakness might have been shown, but it's the same weakness they have had for years. Every once in a while a game like that happens, but overall, Bayern has been running over opponents with their high line, high pressure dominating style.
And then they went and added Sane, and if finally a healthy season happens, count Coman as an addition to.

Crazy game in MÖnchengladbach: Borussia was clearly the better team, not only because of Thuram's two goals. But after the substitions of Embolo and especially H. Wolf, Real could secure the draw.
Mönchengladbach lost two points...

Well, if you really want to make something happen in this group you get at least out of those two against Inter and Real over the line.
Still, we've got two points and now we'll play Donezk twice who won't be an easier opposition.

Rose's bench players are largely to weak.
As soon as one of them enters the game, Gladbach looses points^^
And I don't really understand why Rose wanted Wolf. Even in Leipzig under Nagelsmann he wasn't better...

If we had a full quad Kramer would be coming off the bench and our best player would be participating.
Also, Embolo is a good option and once Lazaro's fit he can be of help as well.
We're also not the one of the top six teams budget wise in the league and therefore have to make due or bring on a talent like Rocco Reitz.

Wolf's a player who Rose knows and as frustrating he was today(nice back heel to those Real players instead of keeping the ball at Madrid's penalty box at the 90th minute), he had a horrific injury last summer and missed to first half of last season.
They also only took out the steel plate in his foot this offseason.

Yeah, but he do has a point...players like Jantschke, Wendt, Traore, Lang are too weak to be considered options for these games.
You might be able to use them against the likes of out of form Mainz.
In a CL game...you can't count on them to produce anything for you.

Not a big fan of Wolf and Lazaro either.
Lazaro hasn't produced anywhere he went except for Hertha. Not in Premier League and not in Serie A. And even for Hertha...a couple decent seasons...that's it. I mean stats-wise he is even comparable to Öztunali lol.
And Wolf...I guess Eberl rolled the dice on him because Rose knows him well and a loan isn't the worst thing. Fairly low risk high reward move.
Then again...I am not a fan of relying on players that had serious injuries in the past. Odds are high they will miss time again. At least higher than they are with fairly less injury prone players, IMO.

So whenever Gladbach have a dip in production or injuries to the starters...the options are fairly limited.

Well, nice 6-0 win at Donezk for us wih Plea scoring a hat trick.

The game was never in doubt and Donezk never had a chance in this game with us executing our game plan.

Yeah, Shakhtar Donetsk really had a terrible game.

And today a team called Taşaksektir beat Man. Utd 2-1... Big upset.

Donezk just couldn't match up with us and we beat them twice with a 10-0 goal advantage.

Now we'll have two finals against Inter and Real.
