Under Georgia law, a candidate can request a recount if the margin is less than 0.5 percent of votes cast. That request must be made within two days of results being certified.

I wonder if Biden wins Pennsylvania and lost Georgia he’d ask for a recount or would he just let the Ossoff race go to a runoff?

Looks like Trump made a dent into the AZ Biden lead, but that same trend wouldn’t be enough for the rest of the votes. Trump needs a much better batch tomorrow. Seems like AZ is updating like 140k votes a day.

The thing to know about AZ is that they have being doing mail in voting for a very long time so Republicans are comfortable in that state using this method regardless of how much Trump criticized it.

He needs to keep getting 59% like he’s been doing in a heavily Democratic area. And I think we have to remember that the campaigns probably have district level trends. Ruben Gallego was on tv saying that there are votes in his district and another district next to him that’s heavily blue. It could all be a bluff but there’s no guarantee that Trump will keep at the pace he needs to pull it off.

Way higher volumes than expected. You have to assume a lot of states didn’t necessarily budget for this. The Democrats passed an election security bill that increased funding for all elections, guess who blocked it.......
