When they need weed, they need weed. Doesn't matter whether it is in the offseason or prior to game 7 in the nba finals.
Just unreliable.

And with Russell, there's at least another one on the roster.

You would be surprised if you judge NBA players by using the "weed" criterion.

Yea someone sounds so old and out of touch with nba aged players. No offense.

I am neutral on pot, but let me ask this.

Is it possible that drugs altered Beasley enough to grab his gun and point it at that car, or is this 100% all Beasley?

Imo it's 100% on Beasley. The possession charge is nothing it's everything else that is worrysome.

He had adderall pills. To me, if he's abusing adderall that could certainly impair decision making and create paranoia. I personally don't know if it could ever make me point a gun at someone... but it seems like it could trigger an extreme reaction like that in someone with some tendencies if they abused it for a period of time..

The possession charge isn't nothing. It's flat out stupid and illegal. Why is it worth jeopardizing your career to smoke dope.

In his latest Scoop podcast, Doogie says he still sees a path to Beasley being on the Wolves next year, despite the allegations.

Put it this way as someone who used it in college to pull finals all-nighters or knew people who did... if you're up all night or god forbid a couple of nights with little or know sleep and lots of amphetamines in your body... well that certainly would make his actions make more sense. I mean not sense in the kind of word as it should have ever happened.. but explainable might be the better word.

Do not want. Find someone else that is not a gun wielding psycho.

If I'm the team I look into all of the allegations. I assess Beasley and we have a serious sit-down. Got to see if he realized the extent of his actions and is prepared to take responsibility and change his behavior. If he seems remorseful and earnest in wanting another shot and sticking with the team, I work out a deal.

These are huge no no's but it doesn't have to be the end all be all. That said he absolutely has to get it together, can't tolerate any other issues for a long time. He seems like a great professional on the court, it's really surprising to see him screw so bad off of it.

I disagree. My country has a strict no gun culture. Let alone involving children and Family Violence. He needs to be told to pack his things and f**K off.

There is CCTV footage. Independent Witnesses. He is absolutely toast and I absolutely do NOT want him on this team or any other team in the NBA.

He should be thrown out.

This all makes me think of the Jayson Williams case. Scary as hell. I don't think you can come back from this.

If there's any truth to this, I don't want Beasley back. I would take a chance on Melo or Edwards first.

Police reports and charging documents are the police/prosecutors version of the facts. For Beasley’s sake, I hope there’s evidence that hasn’t come to light. Maybe for some reason, he felt in danger, etc.

But if he was pointed automatic weapons at a family, including child, standing in a public road without provocation, he should be gone and IMO, she have at least some jail/prison time.

Police have;

1. The gun
2. The CCTV Footage
3. Witnesses Statements
4. Multiple 911 calls
5. 1.8 pounds of Cannabis

He allegedly taped on the window of the victims and pointed the firearm at them and threatened them.

He is done. He overtly walked from his house with a firearm and threatened somebody. The cherry on top for him is observed on CCTV Footage recklessly waving the gun around inside his home.

The NBA should be stepping in and removing him from the League.. I believe they have a policy for this stuff.
