I missed the boat on creating a thread here celebrating the corpse of Neil Funk being replaced by Adam Amin. That's a huge upgrade.

What's your issue with Mark Jones specifically then? His announcing style...? You mentioned Marv Albert and Greg Anthony as guys you like so it must not be a personal thing since those guys are objectively bigger clowns.

I have no idea who this guy is. Jerry just announced retirement too.

Sucks Grant was an ownership puppet back in the Maloof days & upset so many people, he was a really good pbp announcer. He was awful for the informed or skeptical on the radio too, but did have a knack for things when he wasn't blowing smoke.

Sigh.

Well at least it aint Koz I guess, and G Man is better on the radio, yes some of us ancient people still listen to the radio.

I remember back in the 90's before the internet took off, ESPN would have a show called NBA Today and I'd depend on that for NBA rumors each week.

Mark Jones hosted it and he would always do a basketball move after he signed off.
