That’s one of those deals where I can see it improving Indiana and hurting Boston. Boston got smaller and the got someone who is less healthy than Hayward. I’m not sure how that works at all. Plus they still need to use an exemption for a big.

And if PG13’s recovery is any indication, Hayward should be back to prime form first next season. It took PG until second season after returning to the court before he was recognizable as his old self. Celtics might not trade him yet because of that.

I don't understand what the Nets are doing. They hired Antoni as an assistant but in reality he'll be the one coaching... He's the only guy on that coaching staff that has HC experience. This is going to be a disaster for Nash.

These coaching staffs are all copying our model with a bunch of head coach personalities coming together... Honestly not sure why it worked for us, but I really doubt it works other places.

I feel Cockoo Kyrie asked for it, and more power to him for trying to be better. D'Antoni should do wonders to perhaps the most skilled NBA player ever to play.

They were already pretty good without KD & Kyrie last year. I expect them to have an elite, record breaking kinda offense coming into the season. The question is weather Nash or one of the 600 coaches there know how to coach defense, specially if they sacrifice Allen for a 3 star that KD/Kyrie seem to need.

I guess we did win a championship before Houston. Hilarious what's happening to the Rockets.

Ballmer can’t keep his wallet away from something that shiny. Westbrook wanting out because Harden is too much of a diva is also funny.

With Houston blowing up and the hobos ready to take on another year of implosion w lue and company (2004 Detroit pistons team as coaching staff (?¿?¿))..
I don't see how the West is going to still be considered the greater conf now.

Frankly , it had been stated somewhat by a few that gsw can't be a contender anymore bc they lost their veteran bench and kd. That's a huge piece to their runs last few years. Their bench. Now it is a bunch of young guys who never been there.
Also Steph draymond and klay coming off a long layoff and basically getting another year elderly. (They aren't built like bron)

I honestly only see Denver and us as the real contenders this next season.
I mean....really think about it.
Who's really contending in2021 besides these two teams ???

Portland getting a healthy Collins and Nurk back for a full season should see them rise in the ranks. Not sure what will happen with Melo or Ariza or hood but they do have younger capable pieces to provide wing offense in Simons and Trent Jr. Call me crazy but I'm expecting a lot from Little (pun intended).

Also, lay off or not, the one thing that will not go away with GSW is the potent shooting of the Splash Brothers. Klay and Steph are lethal. Take away Durant means more shots for those two, with Draymond initiating the offense. And if they don't trade away #2 pick, oof, expect Wiseman to be that selection. DeAndre Jordan prototype with Dubs' big three is still lethal. Bench I wouldn't worry too much. Those players were exposed to NBA level competition for almost a full season, albeit not winning. That depth should be enough to be competitive.

Utah has a lot of potential, if they make the right moves that is. If they do push with the Conley-Horford swap, they finally get another legitimate big that can complement Gobert and their style of play. Mitchell took his game to another level as well as the lead guard. He became so savvy it's just scary. Bojan getting back healthy is also crucial, they sorely missed his shooting. Bench is another thing though. They can't just rely on Clarkson for scoring (who by the way needs to be re-signed still). If they also get another legitimate 3&D wing, like a Jerami Grant who I think will opt for playing time and opportunities (sorry Bron), even a Crowder, J.Holiday, Jones Jr. or a reunion with Hayward, they'll be miles better.

If Warriors pull off Draymond for Kevin Love, we gotta make some big trades then.

If Warriors trade Draymond for Kevin Love, they'll be worse than the Nuggets.

Depends on how Klay returns. If Klay is close to his former self, between him and Draymond, that's two plus defenders that Nuggets don't have.

The Bucks will be the team to come out of the East. They just robbed the Pelicans and the Kings. They’re the team to beat, in the East.

Holiday and Bogdanovic to add to Giannis and Middleton etc is making them a formidable team. Their GM is on it.

The offense is insane but it's the defense that really scares me. Giannis, Jrue, and Middleton on your team's top 3 scorers? Yikes.
