The Jets haven't beaten the Patriots since the days of Rex Ryan and his wife's two inch nipples but I predict Flacco beats them tomorrow.

Re: General Boston Sports Thread, Phase 2
I am rooting for Brady and Gronk to win every game they play as long as they are not playing the Patriots. (I tend to root for most ex Patriots.) But if the Bucs make the playoffs and face a healthy Saints team, they don't have a good chance without better line play on both sides and more of a threat of a run or at least some screen passes that work -- they tried one and it was an INT on a tipped pass and double deflection. And they gotta have a better plan and execute better against the Saints offense as well.
If Tampa Bay can't run the ball going forward, they may miss the playoffs entirely since they still have some tough games on the schedule. Okay to be completely blown out when everything goes wrong but without a short passing game clicking in bad weather, it is crazy to just run the ball 4 times in the entire game until a kneal down with any QB. And you have a 43 year old QB and your line is struggling with pass blocking and you just run it 4 times for 8 yards... New Orleans had a good split between run and pass for bad weather. Tampa Bay didn't.
I won't count Brady and Tampa Bay out but looks like Tampa will not be the NFC favorites to go to the Super Bowl if they have to go through a healthy New Orleans. They looked totally outclassed on both sides of the ball today.
Ali Marpet was out for them which appears to have been a big loss for their offensive line. But to abandon the run entirely since one offensive lineman is out, doesn't make that much sense.
Brady had a bad game and a lot of that had to do with New Orleans covering well and then getting a lot of pressure on Brady in 2nd half. Tip ball turns into INT. One of his INTs was actually better than an incomplete pass since it was 4th down and he had to throw it to avoid a sack. On a deep ball, he wasn't on the same page as Antoine Brown and that led to an INT. Hard to blame either player on that one. The one time Gronk really got open far down the field for a touchdown, Brady missed him.

I remember the days when I would have spent all week looking forward to a primetime matchup with the Jets on Monday night football...

Spoiler:

It's okay. I'm over it.

My post wasn't meant as an attack. Sorry if it was interpreted in such a way.
I probably shouldn't have made the post. But It's a crazy stat nonetheless.

Listen guys, hopefully this could be our 2020 Warriors-like season where we tank for a year and then are back next year, but there is zero fun in tanking. Like, it's losing, end of the day.
