Sure they’d be really good short term, but they’d cap themselves out long term specially if they have to overpay for an aging CP3.

Im expecting the Celts and the Raps to get atleast a borderline C like Whiteside. Maybe trade future picks for Drummond?

I think Drummond would be pretty cheap - there's a reason he picked up his player option.

He’s also just 26yo. Just as old as Embiid.
And has more upside to his 3pt shooting game than Ben

Drummond is a 3pt shooting away from being like the perfect model center for the Celts.

I don’t know, it’s pretty unclear whether his numbers actually translate into anything.

I don’t think he’s that much better than what centers you can get for the mid level. Whereas I’d say Hayward (who the Celtics would pretty much have to include in the trade to match) is a lot better than the wings you can get at the mid level. Like would you rather have Whiteside like you said (or maybe Derrick Favors) and Hayward or alternatively Drummond and, I don’t know, Justin Holiday?

If I had to predict I would say he runs into a similar issue as Kanter two years ago where plenty of people would take him on their team but no one wants to give up the salary to match him in a trade and he eventually gets bought out. Maybe the Celtics get him that way.

These are ... not great. They're just uniforms at the end of the day, but a huge swing and a miss by the team and Nike considering this season is the 20th anniversary from the legendary 2000-2001 season. Black '01 throwbacks (a la the Jazz and Grizzlies' throwbacks last season) would have sold like hot cakes.

These boathouse row's, in my opinion, are underwhelming. The black, red and white "Clippers scheme" is pretty drab. Also outside of our region, I don't think the rest of the world knows the significance of this theme, and probably shouldn't, because honestly, who cares? Might as well have slapped a cheesesteak on them. I mean, we already had the Rocky greys two years ago so why not?

Same.

I'm Canadian. Can someone explain our new jersey to me? What are the houses meant to be?

(I must say, I like them better up close than from a distance, which is how we'll see them. I understand why the design appealed to... whoever it appealed to. It's pretty cool. It just doesn't look good on a jersey.)

I like that Nuggets jersey

Oh, cool. I've decided that I like the jerseys. The reflection of the water is neat and they're weird, and I like weird. Also, **** it, who cares. They're jerseys.

I'd be surprised if Boston goes after Drummond. I just don't see the upside for them relative to the expense. That's this season's fortune and he'll need to be resigned for another fortune. If I'm Boston I'd be thinking "Embiid stopper" if I'm looking to upgrade the 5 and so I'd consider bringing Banes back (RFA or S+T) or maybe a 500 year old Marc Gasol, someone who can at least match up and not break the bank. Remember Boston doesn't need a name player in the middle just a complimentary guy who can body with Biid.

I’d call that jersey as “Recession Edition”.

We saved a lot of fees for REAL professional artists and inks for this design.

Either way, if they want to upgrade at the C position I think it’s a easy problem to solve.

As much as I love having a jersey with TTP on it, this is some Clippers ****.
