So sorry to hear this. We met once during half time at a Bucks game and he was wearing a huge yellow costume.
Always appreciated his posts on here.
Sending positive thoughts to him and his family.

What can I say about Chuck. He’s the brother that I have never had but was lucky enough to choose. As someone who I consider one of the closest friends in my lifetime I can tell you that all of your perceptions of him are completely accurate and then some. Keep fighting my brother.
Do it for Chuck

Re: Chuckleslove in hospice (Gofundme)
I lived with Chuck for two years. He is one of my best friends. I want to echo Jake when he said that Chuck is truly as awesome as people here think.
I remember when we planned the Squad 6 Indiana invasion, it was me, Chuck and GAD. Chuck is just so awesome at organization and planning. He also is my electronics guru. When we lived together I told him about my quest to watch all of the AFI 100 Greatest Movies list, a few days later, he told me he had downloaded all the movies for me (I had been getting them from the library). This is the kind of guy he is.
I was honored to officiate his wedding in 2014. And his wife and I and my wife had many fun times together.
His wife and I are really into beer, as well as a number of other close friends, and even though Chuck didn't drink, whenever they'd travel, he'd always make sure to bring back beer for our bottle shares. When we'd go to beer festivals, he'd DD friends of mine that he had just met home in order to make sure they got home safe.
He truly is a wonderful, kind and thoughtful person. One of the best I've ever met. I am so appreciative that we became friends through Squad 6 and RealGM. Chuck is the best.

Got to take care of our own. Just donated. Thx for the stories, I'm too far away to meet, so it is nice to hear about the human behind the screen.

Hope it's appropriate to share...
Got an update from the GFM page, from Chuck's wife, that he passed away last night. Thinking about his wife, family, and all of you that knew him personally.
RIP Chuck. Way, way too soon.
ETA: His wife noted this request from Chuck, in lieu of a service. Think it would be good of us to honor his wishes, yeah? Won't post the email address here but check out the GFM page for the details on where to send pictures to.

I was with Chuck on Saturday night as he was nearing the end. He was surrounded by family and loved ones, and we all got to say our goodbyes. He was my brother, and I’ll never forget the impact he’s had on me, and my children. One of the very best people I’ve ever known. **** cancer.
