I don't know much about Haliburton other than what you guys say. What's up with his shot though? That thing looks like a flat footed shawn marion hybrid.

Re: Indiana Pacers Draft Pick Watch Thread
Preferred realistic picks at 24, I’d be happy with any of these guys:
1. Flynn
2. Woodard
3. Bane
4. Riller
5. Terry
1. Flynn
2. Woodard
3. Bane
4. Riller
5. Terry

I like Bane too. Not the highest upside guy but he can shoot it and he has the strength to guard some bigger guys if you want to play small.

It's funky, but incredibly effective in C&S situations. Definitely hinders his pull-up potential, IMO. He needs to be next to other creators to be unleashed, so he would theoretically be a great fit with Giannis/Khris.

Stanley would be a very solid pick. I'm not at all sold on Woodard - he's an excellent north/south athlete, but I don't see any wiggle in his game - usually means lack of quickness to defend on the perimeter - much like Connaughton - and he doesn't rebound well enough to play the 4. Decent open shooter but nothing else on offense. Yeah, he had an excellent 3 point shooting percentage, but It doesn't mean much because he didn't shoot a lot of them. Poor FT shooter. And more to's than assists is an indication of low BBIQ. I'd give him a 2nd round grade, tbh.

Now I want the Bucks to do something crazy on draft night, like trade Middleton for a top 5 pick for Deni Avdija.

Isaiah Stewart with a +10.5 wingspan, tops among all prospects.

Still can’t see Stanley dropping out of the first. I’d be comfortable with him late lotto on. Best athlete in the draft alone should cement him in the first round.

What good is being the best athlete in the draft if you can't dribble or finish, and are a turnover machine?

He’s a good enough shooter as of now and has room to grow. I think he can be a great 3&D player. One of very few guys I’d be excited for the Bucks to draft at 24.

He's already 21, not super comforting to me to invest a 1st in growth we haven't seen already. He's fine as a C&S guy and as the receiver on the FB, but not much of a basketball player, IMO.

I’d take that with a late first in a pretty bad draft.

Joe Alexander was a great athlete. That’s when I stopped caring about drafting athletes and started looking for actual skills.

In my 14 years on this board I have never been more detached from a draft class. Partly because of tourney being canceled, partly I have assumed we are going to be dealing this pick. Can anyone post their tier list for this class?

There's only one tier list I care about.
