Re: Around the NBA IV
So Wiggins and Looney (for salary) for Westbrook. We draft Vassell. Then send out
Curry
Westbrook
Klay
Vassell
Draymond
Give that lineup 25 minutes a game and you might see some 160-155 games. To be clear, I'm joking, but it would be hilarious to watch the train wreck.

Re: Around the NBA IV
I see Westbrook going to the Knicks. They need a move like this just to get back into the Playoffs.
Nothing else they’ve tried has worked. So throw in the towel NY and go for Russell. If they get back to the playoffs in the East, then the NY fans will treat Westbrook like a God.

This is where I think they go Lamelo Ball. Why give up everything for Westbrook who is 30yo and is what he is when you can go for a guy like Ball who is 19, can draw crowds and excitement. Lamelo is big ticket. Westbrook is a proven first round exit.

Everybody knows that this trade was not pushed by Morey.

Westbrook is owed nearly $140 million over the next 3 years. THREE years.
Good luck trading that.

I hope no teams trade with the Lakers & gift them a championship like New Orleans did. Pelinka absolutely robbed NO. NO got good role players & all star in Ingram but they gave LA the ring.

Re: Around the NBA IV
If Houston is actually moving on and starting over you at least get some young players, who are also veterans now. I know they’d want picks, so I would think a third team would get involved.
And I totally see Westbrook going to the Knicks, so that will be another way to try and add picks, but it won’t be a super attractive offer. But I’m sure getting rid of Westbrook is the main goal.

Re: Around the NBA IV
Warriors haven’t been tied to any trades or free agents. Lakers are publicly saying they want Demar, Schroeder etc.
Hope Warriors aren’t just throwing out smoke screens to land nothing.

Good move by the lakers, I was hoping the warriors would go after Schroeder
