not that you're wrong but it just seems out of whack to have 1 guy making nearly half the salary cap
That cap spike money dried up quick though. But here it is - people aren't worried about Anthony Davis' money or LeBron's money. It's when you **** it up with a Mike Conley or declining Paul/Westbrook that all of a sudden the CBA is a problem.
I'll say something wild here... but the Knicks actually kept their dicks in their pants for the cap spike and if they don't **** it up by getting a Westbrook without MAJOR asset compensation they can be positioned to start getting the bargains on lower end star players and continue building the asset base that you need to ultimately bring home the big stars when they get grumpy. The franchise just needs to be committed to three years out instead of six months and I think you're gonna see this franchise turn around hard.
ad is still young and lebron is the rare old guy that makes that much money and lives up to it. but it's like i said, at age 30 your salary is still going up when it should probably start heading down again instead. it's not logical that a 32 year old star makes more than a 28 year old one.
agreed but 3 years is a long time to ask this fanbase to wait. you better somehow make the playoffs during these 3 years.

I don't think they want one in this draft. No reason to carry 4 rookies from this class on guaranteed deals for the next 4 years. If anything they'll look to consolidate IMO or try to poach a 1st in next year's draft.

Ok. Amend my comment to "this year or next"

I just can't see (what do I know) how Boston can turn Hayward into Turner?? Makes no sense to me. I'd expect Indy to want more than an oft-injured guy who's no longer a star (never was to me, for the record). Something just doesn't seem right.
