Some of them aren’t even cool without the context and some others are just off in terms of composition.

Like the Jordan vs the Jazz one could well be “the coolest moment taken on picture”, but it doesn’t make it a cool picture. The picture itself is actually “meh” and doesn’t give you emotion without the context.

The look on the player's faces (Malone, Rodman, Hornacek) as well as the time being on display actually paints an amazing context. One can argue that the crowd and the busyness of the crowd hurts it, and they'd be right. But that said you can tell that was a major moment just looking at it, it tells far more of a story through the image than the other ones do. So while it might lack in some aestetics, it tells a much more powerful and meaningful story even without knowing exactly what that shot was.

This is amazing. Not a single Laker teammate in the frame. Shaq deserves to feel cocky about his career, no one else commanded this much respect.

You said to me “I will give you scissor seven fine quality animation".

You left then but you put flat mediums which were not good before my scissor seven".

What do you take me for, that you treat somebody like me with such contempt?

Infinite bonus points for being shot on film.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Never seen this before.. amazing athleticism but the way his wristband lines up with the backboard is what makes it a great pic for me.
