What I don't like about Lamelo and Edwards is they are immature...and both look like they don't want reality to get in the way with their careers.

Warriors have PERFECT chemistry. Every guy on their team is a nice, smart, high IQ hooper. Having a "pouty punk" join them or a "flake"....pass.

IF Wiseman is for real, then I think they embrace his personality on the team. Same with Deni.
It's going to come down to Deni, Obi or Wiseman at #2....if they don't trade down.

I'm willing to take the risk with Wiseman at 2. The only way I prefer a trade down off of Wiseman (other than some knock out offer) is if we land Okoro in the process. I'm convinced Okoro will help us compete year 1. I just think Wiseman has more upside and I'm willing to take the swing for him. BUT if we can get even something minor PLUS Okoro i'm down with that. Okoro has more of the mentality I'd be looking for too.

If we trade down off of Wiseman and end up with Deni, I'm going to be very disappointed. While a good player, Lamar Odom Hedo Turkoglu upside is not what I'm looking for out of this high of a pick.

I wonder if there is anything that would get the Warriors a second pick...so they can get Wiseman and another player around 10...hmm.... If they REALLY like two players this year....what about trading NEXT years pick for a number 10 pick...

It could be that they love LaMelo and he will sell tickets. SGA is their sG. If LaMelo Ball is on the board at #2, then the Warriors could get Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, averaged 19.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game, in a trade with the Thunder. Ws would prolly get back Den #25 pick and maybe the Thunder's SRP. This is better than being a middleman in a deal for Ricky Rubio.

Warriors and Spurs trade rumours

1) If it is as reported that the trade involves swapping # 2 and Wiggins and # 11 and Aldridge, there must be another asset involved. LMA is in the last year of his contract and he's 35. Could it be Derrick White? Great defender, good all-around player, and White, in particular, plays really well with LMA. If this deal is going to go down, I like to see at least White plus a pick swap next year.

2) This would also mean that the Warriors don't believe in a Wiggins' metamorphosis. Wiggins is likely a little bit above an average level NBA wing, replaceable with a lower salary.

3) I've liked LMA's fit with the Warriors for a while now. I proposed a trade a few months ago without the #2 or Wiggins but as I found out that would require acuqiring a bridge player with the trade exception and then swapping it for LMA. Perhaps a little too much salary overall even for the Warriors. LMA as a small ball 5 would be a huge piece in the Warrior's puzzle.

Yes...this has come up a few times already.

Is it too crazy to suggest that Obi Toppin could give us what LMA would at 35? Top looks like he could come right in and be more explosive than LMA and much much cheaper.

I'd keep Wiggins, draft OBI....IF we think a anthletic PF that doesn't play great defense is the option.

You're probably right, especially the last phrase, which exposes it.

I'd be shocked if we'd go for a PF (who can't defend centers) at all. And if we did, it would certainly not be Aldridge.

Dam Zach Lowe. He reports it and then poo poos the deal. Ws give up Andrew Wiggins and Pops laughs his ass off about ripping off the Warriors. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Maybe LMA re-signs the year after with San Antonio when he's a free agent? MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA again to the idiotic Warriors and their fans!!!

Why not just wait to see what happens with Giannis? The Warriors will have a intriguing package to offer. For example, they offer James Wiseman their #2 pick, Andrew Wiggins, Eric Paschall, Jordan Poole, and the picks they have and can use.

If not Wiseman and they trade down, then Obi Toppin or Okongwu? The Warriors have to get a big man to save Draymond. Trade down to get vet doesn't necessarily mean getting a big man, but likely backup PG or a 3-pt shooter. Maybe Wiseman will fall, but I doubt the Hornets let him pass by. Thus, their target may be gone at #4 if they deal with the Bulls.

A hard pass from me. I use to really like Love, but he his rate of decline is steeper than Draymond. Draymond has intangibles that add value to the team. Kevin has his feelings to worry about.

I don't buy this latest rumour of Love for Green, with Dray being dealt to a 3rd team. If something is being discussed, I see Wiggins going out more so.

Read on Twitter

I'm not buying it. HOWEVER, if Myers were to trade back to #5, maybe something along the lines of the following may suit him.

Love/Sexton/#5 for Wiggins/#2 type of deal maybe. Then the Warriors target Okoro with the #5 pick. Then use the MLE/TPE for a SF.

Curry / Sexton / Bowman
Klay / Lee / Poole
MLE / Okoro / Lee / Mulder
Green / Paschall / Smiley
Love / Chriss / Looney

It may work, but Loves health and lack of defence would be worrying. We get light on the wings, which could be terminal come playoff time, but our shooting would be excellent with Love.

I don't know, not my direction, but could see what Myers and Kerr would be thinking with trying it.

‘Doesn't play great defense’ – Toppin will probably be the worst defensive big in the entire league next year. Aldridge is far better than him on defense. Even at 35.

So did I.

I also used to really like Anthony Randolph but that was back in 2010.

After Randolph became MVP of the Summer League 2009, I knew it was the end. All the hard work he put into his game playing defense and rebounding went to crap, as he thought he was KD version 2.0.

Let’s look at this for a minute.

Love played 56 games this year. 32 minutes per game.

Shot 45% from the field even though he took 7 threes per game. He shot nearly 38% from 3, on those 7 attempts per. 85% from the line which is money.

Almost 10 rebounds per game. 18 points. 3.5 assists.

I’d imagine his assists would go up here with Steph and Klay shooting the ball.

The defense would be rough, and he literally blocks no shots. But rebounding is an important stat for us and he’s a fantastic passer to start the break. Him and Draymond are both great passers to start breaks.

We’d still need to add another defensive center, but the starting lineup would score on everyone.

Draymond put up 10-9-12 in that last meaningful series he played in..Decline? Where? when? I feel like Paul from Cheers

It is true though..In the smallest of moments, Green is unreliable
